Ahh! I've found this drawing of an F4U-1A: http://users.skynet.be/CORSAIR-F4U-CFS2/Part_Corsair_Plane/htm/Drawings/f4u-1a/F4U-1A_Tekening_grand.jpg That would seem to confirm that the stabilisers should be identical. Was this a cost measure in the design of the aircraft? One production line rather t...

Corsair Help Please

Hi, I eventully recieved my first 21C planes, Corsair and Stuka (you may remember my previous thread) a month after they were sent! God knows where the post office had hidden then in the mean time. Anyway, I've opened up the Corsair and I'm trying to put it together. I slackened the screws on the ta...

Great city Norwich. When I was stationed in the UK for 7 years at Mildenhall, I had to make sure that new Yanks pronounced Norwich properly (nor-ich not Norwich). That would avoid some embrassment for them anyways. I often find myself in Mildenhall delivering things to the industrial estate near th...

What are the main differences between a UH-1C and a UH-1D? From what I can see it looks like a D is longer...but otherwise? Would a conversion be possible? Cos I'd love to be able to do a German Bundesgrenzschutz Huey. I'm not very knowledgable at all on the subject, but if it was realistic I could ...

There's a co-incidence Teamski! I thought I'd better update my info after you asked me if I was in the UK! What shop in Norwich was it you saw them in? I saw the Spitfire in Langleys Toys in the city centre. Like you say though the retail prices in the shops are a little silly, I got my two on...

G'day Andyroo There are some images of my custom Stuka in the following thread link, not very Hi-res due to server space issues but maybe some of the closeups will give you an idea of what to expect. http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/viewtopic.php?t=83&highlight=spud That's a very nice Stuka you'v...

It's a 'Checkerboard' Corsair and a 'Yellow Nose' Stuka.

I've noticed that an F-104 is coming soon hopefully that will be released over here too!

Hmmm.....I can foresee a few problems as I'm probably gonna have to store them unassembled and reassemble them when I want to play with them.

I'll go and read the Tips and Tricks in full now I think.

Thanks. Just found them and they are a lot better than what I'd seen (standard ebay size picture). I ordered them on the strength of a Spitfire I'd seen in the flesh in a shop which impressed me no end. Hopefully they might turn up tomorrow. 8)

Stuka / Corsair

Hi there, I've just registered as I've been looking for some close up pictures of the 21st Century Corsair and/or Stuka. I've bought one of each on ebay as they've just become available in the UK through a tie in with Corgi, but they haven't turned up yet and I'm desperate to get a sneak preview as ...
