Re: help

Mikey,
That's really awesome to hear. If it is indeed "Lucky Day", then a huge amount of kudos to him for making it right.

And yeah, the TBF is an awesome achievement from 21C. I only have one, the "Atlantic Scheme" and absolutely love it.

Don't worry, it's just "all part of the weathering process"

Let me see if I can't find that link...oh wait, it's been deleted.

Hey Everyone! There has been a lot of trash talking here on the site, and I think it is time for some FACTS. The response from Jack that is on the Fighting 18 is not what you think. Jack had been sending emails back and forth with the person who runs the site. At the beginning of this email chain, ...

Re: Sky Works A-10

Allgo Toys...you just lost a sale with me because of the people you decided to do business with. I don't NEED an A-10 (no matter how cool it may be) nor any of your vapourware and won't do business with people who treat others like this who are involved with your operation. I'm just tired of being t...

Re: Skyworks 1/18 Scale F-14 Pilots

Skyworks should stick with the planes and contact plasticboy to make the figures. His look great IMHO Agreed Chet, Plasticboy does some fantastic work. I honestly don't think these figures look that great. The paint looks sloppy, the creases in the uniform not pronounced, just an overall lack of "d...

Holy cow!

The ending price is insane. I was fortunate enough to get a bubble top 47 from a member here earlier this year at a wonderful price and felt lucky.

Oh one of these days I'll have my Gabreski 47 :D

Doc, That's one of the main reasons why I'm pissed off at JSI and Merit. No apologies or even any sort of humility to those of us that pre-paid that couldn't return the merchandise. Nothing but a spotted, screwed up mess. I can't even begin to imagine the blowback in the R/C hobby industry if someth...

Zach,
Is All-Go teaming with Skyworks for a full-production A-10, or just being paid for prototype work?

Given the answer, we can either see a "JSI type price" ala Spotcat or a Skyworks type price.

I'm hoping the former.

Yes, it will be armageddon if this turns into vapourware. And yes, I fear it's gonna cost an arm and a leg, probably a kidney and my brain too. Although it's a sorely needed subject and long overdue in the 1:18th world, count me out if the pricing is in the ionosphere. Hope to see pictures of the be...

JSI has lost a customer for good here. Merit has lost credibility in my eyes with their handling of the situation.

I have one F-14 that required my skills to fix its s****y paintjob. I won't be buying another.

Wake me when something exciting actually happens in 1/18th.
