Yeah, the Motorworks-boxed "Blond Angel" was a real thing. I've seen them on ebay regularly, but like you, don't recall seeing them in the field. I recall coming across the "Donnie Boy" P-47 at Wal Mart and then all the others at my local Hobbytown store. I do have a "Blond Angel" in a Motorworks b...

Honestly to me that is almost pointless. I admire the work and everything that goes into the planes but at the same time the reason we buy these things is so we don't have to go to extremes to display them.
