Re: Never seen this Panther before!

I like that Panther! I wonder if any batches of it will arrive on this side of the ocean anytime soon?

Also, can we agree to not post anything about 21st's jagdpanther? It's just too painful to see a picture of it...

Our Ebay Friend from Ohio is at is Again - BEWARE!!!

It appears our Ebay friend from Ohio is at it again. Search RAAF 1:18 on Ebay and you'll see that he has four of those 1:18 BBI Australian Exclusive Mustangs for sale. Of course he's using a stock photo with the bush league excuse that he can't post a real photo because his cell phone batter is dead...

Re: ANOTHER DESERT 109E AND TENDER TERROR SHELL ON EBAY

Both auctions again ended without the reserve price being reached. As for the Desert 109, it is a little difficult to reach your reserve price when you have zero bids on your item. The Mustang was bid up to around $170 with several bids. It will be interesting to see how many listings it takes to se...

Re: ANOTHER DESERT 109E AND TENDER TERROR SHELL ON EBAY

Wow, neither plane exceeded the reserve price. The Mustang barely broke $150 with the 109 only getting one bid at $500! In light of the prices those planes have recently gone for, I'd say those bids were downright paltry. Maybe the reserve price turned people off to the bidding? Maybe it is the econ...

WTT my MIB Spitfire DWK for your MIB Spitfire NKK

Looking for a MIB Spitfire NKK in a blue 21st Century Box and not the Motorworks box. My Spitfire DWK is MIB and is in a blue 21st Century Box.

Re: 1:18 Tank values

The winter panther that Cat Lady was sellling just went for around $112, and it didn't include any figures and was missing the rear engine hatch.

Thus, at this point I wondering whether the winter panther has surpassed the ambush panther in terms of which one is more valuable.

P-38 Front Landing Gear

Yesterday I took my P-38 down off the wall and attempted to retract the front landing gear. After applying as much pressure as I thought possible without breaking it, I still couldn't get the gear down.

I know this topic has been brought up before, so does anyone remember how it is done?

Thanks!

Re: King Tiger on EBAY??

Wow, that tank is a beauty. Is is worth the risk to purchase the KT when there's still a chance, fat or slim, that it will be mass produced? I don't know. This could turn into a bidding Thunderdome. Cat Lady is also selling a winter panther, sans engine cover, which seems to be more winterized than ...

I think the seller is on drugs, self-delusional or both.

For $6,000 the plastic leftover should be delivered via ticker tape parade!

For $4,000 bucks that thing better be hand delivered like a Publisher's Clearinghouse check, complete with tv cameras. What happens when the prop snaps or landing gear breaks during shipping? I don't think there's an original box, so I believe the plane has a better chance of being damaged during sh...

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when JSI and AGO discuss what should be done with the molds JSI currently has in its possession! In addition to the p-51 and KT, AGO should have the 88 and Avenger. But, given the loss/destruction of certain molds, e.g. the spitfire, fw, p-47, Pz IV, and JSI's posses...

Those are some nice repaints. But, why do a repaint of an incorrect 109 scheme? Maybe they saw what a real one recently went for on Ebay? But, that one was an original! I don't think I'd drop $500 on an incorrect scheme unless I was planning to push it off as legit. Without having seen this thread, ...

Nice, all around!

I didn't know JSI had the 109G mold. I think some repaints there would be great.

It doesn't look like there are gun pods under the wings, so maybe that's it for the G-6 variant.

My Panther collection is still a little bloated from the MD frenzy.

But, I bought the Minichamps version and like it, so I probably will opt for this release as well.

I'm wondering whether my SUV would look good painted in this particular scheme?
