Re: Favorite 72nd scale jet fighter.

Here's a pic of my Black Aces, along with my Showtime 100 (which I also like)

Re: Favorite 72nd scale jet fighter.

My fav would definitely be the CW F-14 Tomcat! Just such a cool plane, with the swing wings and Phoneix missiles. Favorite scheme has to be the 1978 VF41 Black Aces: that ace of spade is just too cool on the tail, plus the unique black nose. But I do like the Eagle as well: I have the blue 50th anni...

Re: Sale at Big Guns Collectibles

Definitely some GREAT deals to be had: I got a CW AJ101 Black Aces for around $65, closer to the Tomcats original MSRP of 59.99, oh those good old days! Anyway I already had AJ100, wasn't really gonna get 101, but hey, would it be cool or what to have a pair of Aces! I just love that 70's high-vis t...

Re: Hobby Master has me hooked.

I think those might be either napalm or rocket pods? Anyway I can't say enough good things about Hobby Master: my first model was a Mig-21...afterwards I got hooked, and there goes a good chunk of my income. Which Skyraider did you get by the way? I just recenlt got my 1st one: the first release of ...

Re: Old Crow II F-105

I gotta admit, before HM came out with its F-105, I never really liked the plane. But after seeing pics of the first three releases, and doing more research on the aircraft (and its amazing accomplishments), I made the jump: got me the MBII livery. OH BOY was I impressed!!! What a sleek beast of a p...

Re: Hobby Master SB2C Helldiver

I have the British FAA Helldiver, and what a beauty it is! The British camo sure is unique, and the Helldiver in general is just a beast. Definitely one of Hobby Master's best prop planes! I also have HM's FAA Avenger (sporting those stripes), and I also recommend that! I just need a FAA Hellcat to ...

After two years of looking and waiting, I finally snagged a Spitfire off the bay last night (NKK) for.......$91!!! Relatively cheap considering that no more will be made; I actually felt a bit bad about spending so much on a toy airplane, but thinking about the 1:32 21st P51B that sold for around 10...

US navy wise, I'd like to sea an EA-6B or a S-3 Viking, just to fill out my carrier deck. Wasn't Gemini Aces suppose to come out with an A-1 in the future? They had a pre-pro ready. I'd like CW to make a good Eurofighter, Corgi's doesn't look right to me. Repaint wise, CW need to make more A-6's and...

New guy here, I think it's worth noting that both the F-15 and Su-27 that JSI is putting out are twin-seater variants. I wonder if that was done on purpose? The IDF F-15 certainly interests me, but I was hoping for a single-seat Russian scheme Flanker, or maybe the prototype Su-37 Terminator in that...
