yeah, per Jason's inquiry, what is recognizable and therefore marketable - I would say modern air power has the widest fan base. If you've been to an airshow in the last 30 years... :)

I'm just glad to see JSI isn't spinning out the same old thing - that we're seeing progressive enhancements to previous models 8) - gives me hope for the degree of their commitment

It is also kind of a sad state of affairs if it is better that a company not produce a certain paint scheme that would do well in the market place because it would be too hard to do correctly. I'm not sure what that says about our hobby. I'm new to the hobby but I would say it says larger scales ar...

I was wondering when someone would post a pic of the 1:18 SOA F-14 - if the JSI model looks even close to that, I will be totally jazzed. I know it's hard to get a model this complex to market and it doesn't always work out as planned - but I am really excited about this model

Greetings I'm disappointed it will not be Pudgy. I would have ordered one had it been Pudgy. Living very close to McGuire AFB I have fond memories of the memorial at the base to him... it's the same reason I had to have one - growing up on south Jersey, I had visited McGuire on many occasions... I'...

if JSI is hoping for sales success in 1/18 scale they better get their act together. A 2 seat trainer in chinese airforce markings and an israeli F-15 ain't gonna cut it. With high price tags and limited space, most people will not buy these models. agreed - the sting of the almost awesome is hard ...

Just give Panther his Thud and we'll be all good  We're hearing that interest in 1/18th is waning - but if indicators are weak, I have to believe it's a result of the vapor squadron of unrealized models out there. I totally agree with a lot of people in this thread - I can't get too pumped abo...

I'd have to agree - don't think the tooling was ever that far along but I'd spend the cash if one were ever produced.
