WTB: Broken F6F Hellcat fuselage

Hello,

Wondering if someone had a broken or salvaged 1:18 F6F Hellcat fuselage they'd be willing to sell? I need the Alex Vraciu markings (#19) and I'm mainly interested in the cockpit/canopy area being intact.

Thanks for the help!

Hobbyboss to release a 1:18 Fw-190a-5 kit.

The plastic model forum 'Cybermodeller' announced on their release date calendar that Hobbyboss is going to issue a 1:18 FW-190a-5 kit this August. I assume that Merit sold the kit tooling to Hobbyboss, but I don't have any other details.

Re: Most wanted reproduction bbi Elite Force 1/18 model

I definitely agree about a Thunderbirds F-16! (If they can get the colors & glossy finish correct). A Canadian F-18 is a no brainer especially in commemorative markings, like the 2015 'Battle of Britian scheme', I also think they should start cranking out 1/32 F-4 Phantom re-paints to capitalize on ...

Re: 1/18 FW 190A - BACK OPEN

Anybody remember this post/thread? http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=29138 Yes, it was December of 2012 when Merit announced the FW 190A was coming in 2013. It really has been that long. It's obvious that Merit is indeed at the mercy of outside forces to get this done. ...

Aviatornut:

Thanks for the packaging update. I'm hoping as more pictures and information come in that this FW-190 matches the super quality of Merit's SBD...so far it looks promising! (Spitfire Mk.IX next, Merit??? Fingers crossed*)

Hello all,

I'm Looking for a pre-built Merit 1/24 P-51D for a project; It can be used/loose, and I'd prefer the Eagleston version if possible.

Re: New 1/32 Hellcat repaint...I may finally bite...

I agree, this is a very fetching paint scheme. While certainly overpriced (should be closer to $150), the quality of HM's Hellcat is better than I expected. Not quite as nice as their SBD; but still impressive. Although, it'd be better if the flaps were positionable.

Re: Should I build it?

It's not quite as large in scale, but Merit just released a nice SE5A kit in 1:24. Might be a smoother/ more detailed build. Although, the vintage aspect to your kit makes it fun.

For Sale: loose bbi F-18 Blue Angels Hornet (missing door)

Hello all, I have a loose bbi Blue Angels F-18 hornet for sale. The model is in good condition and working order with two exceptions; it is missing a section of the door to the front landing gear and a substitute bbi pilot has been custom painted (Not the original issue B/A pilot figure). The number...

Re: 1/18 FW-190A?

To be fair to Aviatornut, he probably was provided with these photos by a contact at Merit. This tooling is nicer than a kit bashed Franken-Focke. Although blurry, you can see some nice recessed rivet detail on the shot of the belly. If you look at the comments on the photos posted to Facebook you c...

Re: 1/18 FW-190A?

Wow, if that's Merit's Fw-190 I'm pleasantly surprised. I imagine that's a paint master since the weathering looks hand applied. Tman: I'm surprised you don't like the markings, I was very excited when I saw them as Hermann Graf was an incredible pilot/ace. If these are the production markings it wi...

Looking for a bbi F-18 front/nose landing gear door cover.

If anyone has a junked bbi F-18, or can mold/cast a replacement front/nose landing gear door cover, I'd greatly appreciate it and will compensate accordingly. The door cover I need is the long slender one that's attached to the gear, not the two side doors.

Thanks!
