Re: Unfinished projects
I didn't see a selection for what I needed: "Non-started projects" I have a few project pieces I want to do but just haven't gotten around to them to even start, let alone finish them. I picked up several of the V-1's from Pegasus to repaint into US made versions and they still sit in my closet unto...

Re: Actual pictures of F-16 "Enduring Freedom"
I've said this before and I'll repeat it again here, these companies should be including the history of these planes and their pilots in the boxes. Nothing fancy, just a sheet of paper, or even a half sheet to save $$, and give a brief description of the pilot, paint scheme and significance of the p...

If you are interested in cases of these Japanese toys you might want to check out http://www.bcmini.com/id285.html . The prices seem reasonable compared to buying individually. I haven't bought from them yet but I am tempted. Let me know how it goes if you do buy from them.

Red Tails - January 20, 2012
Here is the trailer for the movie Red Tails http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810095581/video/26098678 Looks like it will be a good movie with some great stars (and I'm talking P-51s and Me-262s :D ). This would be a great opportunity for AllGo or anybody to get their 1/18 molds back from the Chinese a...

Re: f-104 smoke ii service history?
It would have been and would still be nice if the manufacturers would include a sticker or card with the planes indicating their history. Sure, some of the more well known schemes are easier for us to find out info but for the lesser known it is more difficult. It would do more to honor the pilots i...

Re: Pre-Built Pegasus Bell X-1 Up on BadCat
Finally received my prepainted X-1, verrry pleased with this plane. Pegasus did a great job. My only disappointment is of course the lack of the GG decal. Has anyone come across a solution? Perhaps a free vector file that someone can print at home on some decal sheet? Or a supplier?

To me, the Passion Wagon was a good idea but too little for too much from a "new" company. I know we will never see the Walmart prices again, but jumping into the 1/18 game with a $100 low production repaint probably wasnt the best idea. I would have preferred seeing AllGo get a license deal with Lu...

Living in old Tomcat territory (Grumman's former home on Long Island) I had to pick one F-14 up. Not thrilled with the spots but I can deal with it for now. I may keep mine sealed until they announce a second series to decide if I want another to open or not. Either way I have no regrets picking up ...

I plan on supportting JSI quite a bit, especially with the F-14. My concern though is that the company makes smart decisions that allow them to do well and support the scale. I'm worried that they will come in with all guns blazing, offering product that won't sell well or be priced too high, and th...

I'm 120% in for the F-14 and 90% on the F-15 since I focus on US fighters. I however have no intentions of getting a Flanker unless a good Monkey Depot type sale occurs. I know a good number will disagree with me but I do not feel foreign aircraft sell well in the US. There were times I would walk i...

Interesting decision on Admiral's choice. I know the die hard collectors will buy these WWI aircraft, but what about the rest of the population? WWI is an often forgotten segment of the hobby but then again, how many WWI collectors are there? These planes just don't have the sexiness of WWII fighter...

Soooo, is anybody going to the NYC show? This will be the first NYC show I have missed in three years, it's just too much of a ride now that I am lost in the Pinelands.. when you really don't know if you will find anything new or interesting... So, will anybody go to give us a report? TTT I ...

Too much Luftwaffe on the shelves?
This question could go in both the 1/32 and 1/18 forums but I'm putting it here since I've noticed it in both scales. I've noticed the past several years that most of my Walmarts only have German aircraft (and tanks for that matter) on their shelves and rarely any American planes. I've always consid...
