Work continues. The fender supports were the second reason I shelved this project. After 6 years I finally got the track issues worked out !

I confused myself.
In the picture above are 21st tracks .
I split the main drive cog and added the extra nibs to the inside of the tracks.
I drilled the nibs and slid in some wire on each one so they would not pop off.
It was LOT of work.
So much that it was a one and done !

I have a 3d printer buddy make the proto for the 3 bar cleated tracks for the Pacific Sherman. Production is underway.
Many ,many parts.

I think I have ALL the bugs worked out and I will make my first production pieces today.
I was having issues with the track and that has been worked out and I have Grunt making the fender channels .
So I am ready to go !

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think that his asking price is that high.
I unfortunately had to sell my years ago due to finances.

I got some self drying clay to do the job thanks.
I actually looked at those but I needed so much of the bags and certain shapes I decided I had to make my own.

It does look nice.

Is anyone making 1/18 scale sand bags ?

At the present I am still over my head building armor. At the time my real work was non existent. so I put a few things up for sale on ebay and they sold fast so I put a few more. The money made paid the bills then my real job kicked in .. oh nooo... I am catching up. Once all those tanks get built ...

I use plane Scotch tape
Try not to touch the sticky side of the tape .
The oil in your fingerprints will take some of the sticky out of the tape.
Stick the tape to a piece of glass make your cuts , pry up an end with your knife and apply.

Depends on the tape, sometimes it bonds to the surface and almost impossible to get off unless you use a solvent,
