Since any scale is considered, my favorite model model would be my Century Wings VF-84 AJ201 F-14 followed closely by my 1/32 4D Famemaster F-14 VF-84 AJ201.

Most of all the 1/18 planes and vehicles are coated with some sort of acrylic. I make this assumption based on the fact that for any custom work I've done any BBI or 21st plane mineral spirits does nothing to remove any paint whereas acetone cleans off any paint on these items.

Is there anyone here who bought one of those 1/32 F-14 puzzle kits from 4D Vision/Famemaster? If so, what did you think? They look good from the pics, but wow that's expensive!!

I agree with hworth18. I don't think BadCat's pricing or marketing/advertising has anything to do with the demise of 21st. In fact I think excellent online retailers have had more to do with helping keeped 21st propped up. BCA has all the great tools in hand for marketing/advertising to sell product...

I've used testors enamel paints (both spray and bottle) on almost every XD or BBI airplane I own and there's no issue. However, the tires on all these planes will not take enamels. The paint will forever be sticky. Use acrylics only on tires or on the figures (same plastics)
