Paul is somewhat right here. The guy is trying some creative schemes and ideas although not factual. It just struck me as somewhat humorous when I saw the pics so I posted the comment. Don't need to make too much out of this.

I preoredered a F-14 from Aikens about 3 weeks ago by phone and they were already close to not taking any more pre orders. I am glad I got my order in when I did. Wrong if Foxhole charges you when you had peorder in.

I have both the ZPA and NKK in the box. I don't think there are deals to be found for the DWK. I bid on the one that went for $455.00. Too much when I think of what these planes retailed for.

Went to 2 big lots here in South Texas and nothing like this. A lot of the towers and other minor stuff but no buildings.

Similar Pacific paint scheme to Putt Putt Maru but clearly pic shows Thomas Mcguire's Pudgy aircraft. I was debating about getting the special box 21st version but these are fetching a high price now. Curious as to why JSI does not release a different paint scheme than already offered from the P-38.

Has anybody checked out or built any of the WWII 120mm Verlinden kits. Are they really close to the 1/18 stuff?

Any paint scheme from a 109E that comes from one of the greatest aerial battles of all time The Battle of Britain is great by me. We have the ZPA and DWK Spitfire from the same battle so I need something else from this time frame. The Helmut Wick 109 is OK we some rework but something else is needed...

Excellent detail with your work. I didn't realize the resin was so expensive. I know there are alternatives but as you mention the quality of the resin is important.

I got the Spinach 109 for $140. Made offer and was accepted. I could not pass it up. Probably won't see many and I know it is too much but I wanted the Helmut Wick version. I got some decals from Jackson coming to spice it up.

Spitfire 1/18 DWK went for $255.00 today. The yellow nose JU-87 for $105.00. I wanted both of those but was outbid. Prices will not drop for the rarer 1/18 stuff

Very nice work. Very different paint scheme compared to most P-51's.
i need to learn more about the vinyl stencil mask process.
