Placement of accessories on the orig. 21st Sherman Tank

Ok, I need help with what the placement was for the accessories that were on the first edition 21st Sherman tank. I pulled all of them off last year to start repainting and customizing, but now I can't remember what went where? Yeah, I should have done a diagram or something, ...can someone post a l...

anybody found a paint that matches the darker olive color of the BBI tank...Tamiya OD green is not right, and Testors OD green is way off, too light....I had thought about adding the foot guards on the turret, the ones that protect the periscopes from the crews feet when walking on the turret. Anybo...

I agree on the book mentioned above, "Walk Around" for the Sherman...worth every penny! Great shots of the interior as well!

M-41 Walker Bulldog interior question

Could someone who has this tank shoot some close up pictures of the interior and post them...I wanted to know how this one compares to how nice the Tiger is....and see if some of this can be kit-bashed to use on the sherman. Thanks!

I thought I read it in 21st Century's new catalog. Look at the page posted here regarding the catalog, and look at the page where it mentions "A Bridge Too Far"....It needs an interior to be able to compete with BBI' version, which is just plain bad ass.

Just got mine, and it's my first Tiger....can't believe it took me this long to throw down the cash for one. I have to say they went all out on the Tiger. The interior is on par with what I try to do with all my tanks. I wish they had done this with their other tanks. I wonder if the forward hatches...

New 21st Sherman Tank that's out

Does anyone know if the latest 21st Sherman that's out, the one that came in early according to BCA, has a detailed interior....I read that the one planned for "A Bridge Too Far" will have a detailed interior. Anybody have any more news on this?

Ok, cool, so sounds like if it's the 56014 kit I should be ok....I would be getting it from a local hobby rc store , but they would have to order it...I'll just make sure the kit number matches to the newest version...I would not be happy with one of the older ones, I know that...not for that kind o...

Would the REAL OD GREEN, please stand up!

I don't know how many of you customizers out there are aware of this,...but the Tamiya's OD green and Testor's Model Masters OD green (spray paints) are totally different! I mean way off. Tamiya is a dark green, and Testors quite light. Which is more true to the military OD??? I had no idea the rang...

I read a review online of this kit...but I think it might have been one of the older Shermans. This guy said the turret and gun did NOT traverse...and he had to modify it with servos to make them work...I thought this was part of the package when you buy the kit? The best price I've seen on this kit...

The turrets for these tanks do not attach to the hulls the same. You would have to seriously customize one or the other in order to get them to work together....putting the accuracy issue aside.

thanks for the info guys. I don't need a battery and charger, I have a Tamiya Mini Cooper RC I built last year. I guess I'm talking about the new kit, which has the DMD in the box. Does that work like an Elec. Speed Controller? Sorry, not familiar with the term DMD? How do you know if you are gettin...

You only need the battle system if you are dueling another tank with the battle system right? How much is the controller, it needs to be 4 channel right? That's extra on top of the kit, as the kit doesn't come with one. Do you need anything else to get up and running. I guess the tank comes with a s...

I only have the original 21st one that was released, and I like BBI's better than that one. At least they are two different Shermans. I think the BBI one will be easier to detail the interior...the turret is open... I had to cut out that area on the 21st one, and it was a major pain....

Does your Wal-Mart still carry them...and if so, are they back at $150.00 again? Clearance usually means "we are trying to get rid of this for good". Ours just don't get Cleared at a good rate...you're lucky if you can save 10 bucks here in Cali.
