Re: Yellowed BBI models
How about just do a new paint job. Dark ghost gray on the upper side and Light ghost gray on the underside. Decals are easy to make especially if you do a lo-viz model. I've repainted several and it's not complicated. Good luck!

Has a couple of minor issues such as 1. broken tail tab, 2. broken vertical tail from being glued, 3. some glue spots from shop owner glui...

Heard from a friend that Merit has a booth at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Wondering if anyone can confirm and if there's anything 1/18 scale.

Hi members,
I have a 1/18 scale Bbi Lieutenant JG Alexander Vraciu F6F Hellcat that is brand new in box (never opened) that I'd like to trade for a Pacific Theater TBF Avenger. I'm hoping someone on the board is interested.
Please pm me if you fit the bill!

Wanted to say how impressed I am with Bob (blitteer) on a deal for the Bbi F-16. He offered a great deal, did a fantastic job of packaging and shipping, and most importantly was very honest in the description/condition of the plane. Very stand up guy and honest dealer! Thanks again Bob!

Re: JSI Spot Cat redone
That LOOKS Great! I still need to do my spot cat. What paint did you use and did you apply all by hand? I spent about 4 hrs total masking the markings and applying paint using makeup sponges. I used Testors Light Ghost Gray which matched exactly with the original color. I forgot the paint sku numbe...

JSI Spot Cat redone
This is my Special Edition electronic Spot Cat which I repainted using makeup sponges. It turned out pretty decent for minimal effort (about 4 hrs total masking and painting). http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab244/trex0770/JSI%20Tomcat/0106002222.jpg http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab244/trex0...

Hi fellas,
If anyone could help me to find a replacement windshield and canopy for the Merit Int'l. AV8B Harrier I would be forever appreciative! My Harrier's glass could not survive the curiosity of a 6 yr.
Thank you so much!

I also just fixed the gap issue. My plane had globs of glue that had dried and were impeding the wing root from snapping all the way down. I pried the wing root up, scraped the glue, applied new glue and now it sits flush...looks 100x better too!

Re: REVIEW OF THE 1/18 scale Harrier AV-8B
Here's some updated photos of my Harrier with a spare Litening pod and GBU-16 (from the JSI/Merit F-14) as well as a reference photo. Btw, the predrilled holes in the GBU-16 lined up perfectly with the Harrier's tabs, they just needed to be enlarged ever so slightly. Still need to do some modificati...
