Re: Great

Great! really like! A diorama that depicts the real grunts! HOOHA! ps: how did you make the flag? I used an old white t-shirt, cut the flag out to the approx. size. Then holding a quarter in the center, I took a Testor red paint marker and colored the flag all around the quarter. Did the same on th...

XDs swapping war stories........

I made a little souvenir for my 82nd Airborne. I don't know if its got anything on the other soldier's Luger though? Seeing the different dioramas, from this board, has inspired me to do more with them than having them just stand there :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v469/corvette01/DSC03008.jpg

Who collects one of every paint scheme???

With the price of these vehicles averaging around $50, what do you collect by? As do you collect one of every paint scheme or just the one of each model. I personally stick to one of each. And if you do collect one of each, what determines which paint scheme you buy? I try to go by which is historic...

BadCat is going to sell 1:18 accessories

February 12, 2005--Bad Cat proudly announces a new association with Build-A-Rama. The 'Cat has ordered all the available 1:18 and 1:32 accessories and expects to have these up on the site for sale by the end of the month.

Thought I would give a heads-up if no one saw it yet

I now I was ranting earlier on WM and TRU. Well this evening we went to both to see what the status was. First WM, had Tigers and M113 for $35,and 1:6 Kubelwagen and Mutts  Anyway I am going to wait for the M113 to get cheaper or try Ebay. We then went to one of the closer TRU and since the b...

Is the M113 worth buying?

My wife has a $20 gift card to WM and I think I convinced her to let me use it on the M113, which sells for $30. I just started buying the modern stuff due to the popularity of the vehicles being used in Iraq. I already have the LAV,& Abrams. I'm looking to add the Hummer and Bradley. Is the M113 wo...

The bad part is, back around 1998-99 I was roaming through TRU and saw they had a blue nose P-51 and Me109 hanging from the ceiling. I go down the aisle, and stacked floor to ceiling down the whole aisle was 21st 1:18. All the buildings, tanks , jeeps, kubelwagens, and planes, from WWII to modern. I...

Re: looks good!

That does look pretty close to scale. Close enough anyway to be passable. Nice piece, just checked it out off your link. $85 isn't too bad for an all metal piece. Now, I have to figure out the justification for ordering it  LI1 I'm always glad to help in supporting a "habit" Justificati...

Since 21st is taking a change for the good, what about a German jet 262. According to the interview on 21st website w/ Roy, he stated they try to stick w/ planes that are popular and that will sell. I think a lot of people know Germany produced the 1st jet, so it would only make since to make it :D ...
