Re: Timpo Aurora Chieftain Tank
Maybe later, mine is a NZ made box/tank , although stamped made in GB, and this is a GB made one, different box.
http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/13640/lot/1317/
So, it was Aurora who made a German version, not Timpo.

Re: Timpo Aurora Chieftain Tank
I just got another one, here's a pic that shows the box http://www.timpo-collector.co.nz/files/4313/8602/2055/timpo_lot_dec13_018.JPG Mine are stamped 'Timpo Toys, made in GB', whilst the Aurora Tanks are not Timpo since they are stamped 'Aurora Toys, made in USA. Timpo tanks are super rare, Aurora ...

Re: Timpo Aurora Chieftain Tank
Here's some Timpo tanks I bought, stamped 'Timpo Toys' made in GB underneath, even though they were made in NZ. The soldiers are a different shade of green to standard release.

I bought the Amphibian and the tracked Humvee today, there was also a new J-10 aircraft.
The back of the box also shows:
Military assault unit. Includes a damaged building.
Military defense unit.

Re: How to disassemble 1/16 Merit and WSN Tiger I tank
Not familiar with the Tiger but am with the T34 where there's a screw under the hub that holds the wheels to the suspension arm, in the Tiger's case you will probably need to remove the outer roadwheel to access the screw, try some nail polish remover along the joint and carefully separate it.

Re: Allgo and value of 21st Century 1/18?
Prices for 21st century items should go up a lot when it becomes vintage in about another 15 years, when guys who had them as kids get old enough to become nostalgic collectors.

Re: New Kid on the Block RC Custom Tanks
I love the sales BS passing off a 1/18 Patton as fitting in with 1/16, a 1/16 Patton (Chunwai) makes most all 1/16 RC tanks look tiny.

I had a German, Desert Rat and some red beret figures but I traded them recently, they can still be found fairly cheap on ebay uk. I still have the Action force version of the MOBAT tank.

Re: 1-16th Russian Tank Question
they'll be seperate hatches, just glued on like the WSN T-34. They can probably be pryed open with some patience. The early RC version which I have two of has an opening drivers hatch, it could only be opened by separating the upper/lower halves and opening the latch from it's 'closed' position. Th...
