Re: Should I build it?

Well put teebird. I know finishing a model always is a huge rush for me. All the models I've bought or received I always pictured them built just as I have with this one. Just so you know I'm tilting toward building this one.

Re: Should I build it?

I recently purchased a 1975-vintage Revell Mig-21 kit in 1/32 scale. It was 100% complete, in an undamaged (though opened) box, and the decals looked nearly new. I had wanted a 1/32 Mig-21 and the old Revell one was the right scale and the right price, so I built it. This was despite the fact that ...

Should I build it?

I recently was very lucky and located an old Aurora Screwdriver kit of a British Scout SE-5 bi-plane. The kit is 1/19 scale and is in great condition for a kit that is almost 50 years old (released in 1967). I've collected models for a very long time and this one is a collectors item without a doub...

Re: Back dated a M113A2 to a Vietnam era M113A1 with 106mm

Thanks for the comments. It is a labor of love. I have updated the floats and filled in two of the holes on the trim vain / flotation cover. I am still working on perfecting my weathering techniques before I put the brush to my M113a2.

Re: 1/18th F-14A "BLACK KNIGHTS" Tomcat, JSI's 2nd release

Based on what I've read it looks to be about 1/1450 scale. "Shapeways" makes a 1/1200 scale carrier aircraft set, I don't think the scale difference would be that noticeable. If your considering aircraft.

I'm planning on doing a Vietnam diorama with a bunch of soldiers, custom M113's, M48's a Mutt or two and some Huey's from my collection. I'm very excited about setting it all up for the photos. The other forum members photos are very inspirational. I like this forum a lot.
