Yeah, rmoore456 said he found a listing for the Corsair in the TRU computer, over in the bbi P-40 thread. The P-40, while having its own listing on amazon.com, uses the same SKN# as the P-51, so I guess that one isn't true after all. I dunno why bbi wants to remake the same planes as 21stC, but it'd...

I'd also like to know when the Sahara stuff will be out, but given that we still don't have the Sky Captain P-40 who knows when they might finally trickle out? Its looking more and more like they won't be out in time for the theatrical release, thats for sure. I'm afraid centone might be right about...

Interesting stuff. If BBI is making a Corsair then perhaps that Zero won't be far behind. Target carrying XD is wild, even if it is online only; guess this stuff is too big for them to devote shelf space to in-store. Makes me realize just how scattered 1:18 distribution is, though: Wal-Mart carries ...

I think the reason they go after the 'franchises' though is for the name recognition, to help sell it to retailers and consumers. I'm sure they could make the men of Easy Company, but if they can't call them "Band of Brothers" it may as well just be another, regular assortment, like the Marines or P...

Well, I'll take any WWII plane they throw at us, but my wishlist is really for modern fighters:

Harrier
A-10 Thunderbolt
F-14 Tomcat
F-15 Eagle
F-22 Raptor

maybe a Prowler as well.

Hmm, interesting. I seem to recall that amazon used to have the Mustang mislabeled as a P-40, but theres seperate listings for them now. Heres hoping its true, but I hope BBI is going to do more than just follow in 21st's footsteps.

What I'm really worried about is BBI; TRU is the only brick and mortar retailer that carries their product, and if they scale back, given the recent clearances on the armor and helos, I'm afraid that BBI might be the first to go. They've already stopped carring XD, and now that Hasbro is abandoning ...

I certainly hope so! I mean Elite Force is right next to the Joes on TRU shelves, shouldn't be too much of a stretch. My only concern would be that right now at least, BBI's presence is minimal after most of their stuff got clearanced out.

But I thought TRU carried the German XD stuff? Why wouldn't they do the same for BBI?

Oh and yeah, about the Hind, thats what Dirk heard at the German toy show some weeks ago.

I'd love to see a Zero from BBI! Its weird because so far BBI has only done US vehicles and aircraft but first we hear they're planning a Hind and now a Zero. Oh and they'd better have an F-14 on tap too, and d@mn the expense, I'll pay whatever it takes! :P

Ideally I'd like to have one of each paint scheme for the planes, but between cost, space, and the fact that I came late to the game and have alreday missed out on a lot of these, I probably never will. The armor on the other hand I definitely intend to get one of each, since I'm more into that and ...

yeah, it was the comic 3-packs and TRU army builder sets that got me back into GI Joe for the first time in 10 years; and now they go and cancel it :? Well on the bright side maybe disenfanchised Joe collectors will spend more on 21st Century and BBI's 1:18 lines while they wait out this Sigma 6 stuff

We only have the OD green version in NW Indiana. I can't believe how fast they got clearanced, either; I feel like such a sucker for paying $40 when they're down to $17 now.

But at least I should be able to get the tan version cheap on ebay.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up, Digger! About the Tiger, though, is there any difference in the paint scheme? How many versions are there of the various XD tanks?

Hey guys, I figured somebody here should know the answer to this :) I just came across a paint scheme for the Panther Tank that I had never seen before, so now I'm wondering just how many there are altogether: Panther This makes four to my knowledge, the original camo version, the second camo versio...

Wow, I wasn't familiar with this one but I just looked it up on the fas site; very cool helicopter! I would love to see this happen, especially if it means BBI is expanding out into non-US military vehicles. I especially like the version with the bubble canopies.

What about those historical miniatures BBI had on display at the fall Toy Fair? I dunno if those were playsets or just cardboard backdrops? I hope we find out more about those.
