I was ordering some stuff from smalljoes today anyway so I went ahead and got one. I guess we'll see when it gets here. I'll post some photos for review, keeping my fingers crossed that it's in scale... just as a sidenote, my order was processed and shipped in under 1/2 hour! so it's already on the ...

I emailed Corey last week about it and he got right back to me saying "It's roughly the same scale, designed for 3 3/4" action figures (which Microman are) so it should display fine with other similarly scaled figures. I cannot guarantee that certain figures would or would not fit in the sidecar, et...

Microman Motorcycle w/sidecar?

I keep looking at this bike over at smalljoes and getting tempted to get one but it's pricey and I'm not really sure how well it fits scale wise with the 1/18th xd stuff.

Does anyone have one that they could give a quick rundown on how it fits?

I don't collect modern era but I seem to remember that on the first release this was missing some critical parts that would allow it to be assembled. Has it been completed on the later release versions or is it still a baggie of useless parts?

Gotta give a big thumbs up to MD for the insane prices and superfast shipping on these. I ordered a bunch of stuff and it was all delivered in excellent shape on Friday! As far as the SS sets go, I've only opened one of mine and (as they mentioned on the MD order page) the helmets are definitely a b...

 WOW, thanks for the heads up on this! Looks like all their 1/18 is on clearance. There's some really, really nice prices on stuff, had to pick up some Concord books on sale while I was there. That was expensive... :o http://www.monkeydepot.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=1%2F18&Search.x=0&Searc...

Re: 21C

If they were to be destroyed it would be downright criminal. I definitely agree but consider that the vast majority of tooling for consumer products is scrapped and recycled for re-use. The logistics of storing and maintaining tooling for every injection molded piece of plastic in consumer products...

Worst Case Scenario - 21st goes out of business.

Question

What happens to all the mold tooling? is it just melted down and recycled or is it sold?

I think this was brought up back on the old GP site I think he got it on accident like how the Trop 109 got out when the they sold them off there web site or he was the guy that helped out in there booth at the toy show a few years back. I remember something along these lines being the case. There ...

these just keep getting better and better. You've really hit something with the VN figures, they're really nice and I'm not even interested in that era. My only crit is on the DAK pilot, there's something not meshing, or maybe with the harness and the stuka boots he just seems too busy, especially s...

road wheels look pretty much like the 21st version, one of my drive sprockets got broken in shipping but the part was there so I can glue it back together. The tracks are decent, a little less detailed than the 21st but they seen to work and look ok. I've uploaded some photos here. http://community....

well the one I got off ebay last week finally showed up so I thought I'd give it a brief review. It's definitely not using the exact tooling of the 21st version, looks like they did a 3-D scan of it and simplified all the moving parts and panel lines. It's nowhere near as detailed and crisp as 21st....

some more info to add to the pile. I ordered several sets of the figures from greatmodels that crazyintexas posted the link to last month. nevermind the cost involved with that new CIPSA (or whatever) lead testing law that's apparently now on hold. I really hope they can pull out of their nosedive but without a committed large retailer I don't see much hope. I'm hoping we'll get some info next month at toyfair. I'm doubting they'll be ...

not with metal track links and even then the RTV for the molds and the resin would be a bit nevermind time and effort. $300 seems like a pretty good price for this if interested.

3 out of 5 WM have no space for 21st Century after reset. @ have space but no product. These have stickers that say product expected 1/25 or 2/5. Well, I've sent them an email regarding US distributor and import cost/quantity so hopefully they'll get back to me with some info. I'd think wholesale on these must be $20 or less depending on volume. If it looks workable when grunt1 or myself get theirs in hand then it might be worth ordering a qu...

thanks for the pics and links (especially the forum link, lots of interesting stuff going on there). So maybe I need to reconsider my "no" vote on adding a 1/16th section, there's some pretty cool stuff out there that looks like it meshes with all but the tanks from 1/18th land. What would you recom...

so who's gonna post some decent scale comparison pics of the 1/16 tanks with the 1/18 figures/jeeps/halftracks/etc so we can get a good idea of how these might be able to mix together? There's tons available in the 1/16 stuff but I've got thousands of dollars in 1/18 right now so I'm not too incline...

Wonder how much wholesale is on these for a case or so? Might be worth it since it looks like there's lots of nice kits being made to go on the base.

grunt1, has yours arrived yet? any reviews?
