I wouldn't worry about the trade, I've made a few with him over the years with no problems at all. He posts a lot over at joecustoms and his last login was Jan. 28th. If he was moving then my bet is on having some hassle getting the internet svc hooked up.

There's definitely some logic in what PanzerArm is saying. If 21st had any plans to stay in the game, or to ever in the future re-enter, it would make absolutely no sense for them to be giving away product like this through MD since it's guaranteed to screw over and piss off every single other retai...

a lot of it used to go to KayBee but now that they're gone I'd have to guess Biglots as well. Target stuff shows up a Goodwill, though usually for more than original retail it seems. I'm half convinced that WM and TRU just let most of it rot on the shelves until it's completely trashed then write it...

Ah, misread you on that, my bad. I thought you were asking if he would comment on the current status of 21st, I missed the IF 21st is kaput part. I agree that it would be great to have some inside perspective on what happened/is happening. Of course the flip side of that is 21st would likely have to...

good call, I posted the stuka price drop in the 88 thread cause I didn't want to start another thread just for one update. If we can consolidate all future MD news/price drops/etc here it'll be much easier to keep track of.

Most NDA's extend 6 months to a year after exit date, and like fiero dude mentioned, there's almost always a non-compete clause included, ESPECIALLY in any type of design/consumer product business. Back when I worked corporate design there was usually about a year lead time before product hit the sh...

I'd bet that he had to sign a NDA for 21st so I really wouldn't expect him to say anything.

I'd say to check it out if only for the unimax and "unknown F-14 company" possibilities. I'd also say to wait until the last day since then you can make a better decision based on what's already shown up online and there's always that off chance that, if something like the F-14 is actually there, yo...

Damn!!! I go offline to stay over at a friends house for 2 days to help him build a swingset and sandbox and I missed the 88. Now I'm going to have to keep MD on refresh alert 24/7 and hope that some more show up.

They had several of him, but I don't know what you could use him for? :?
Maybe a repaint as a Monte Cassino monk?

Yeah, it being some type of Chinese armor makes sense but I'm not sure it's related to the 63a since it's wheeled instead of tracked. There's about a billion things that look almost identical (to this and to eachother) but most seem to be 8x8 and this looks like a 6x6. http://www.militaryphotos.net/...

Yeah, I'd say it was a good deal even with the shipping cost. I had even set the alarm on my phone to remind me 10 minutes before it closed and then I left my phone in the garage and missed it. It's probably a good thing that it slip by all of us who were watching it otherwise it would have gone up ...

It sounds like Coreystinson is saying 21st Century Toys won't be around long enough to call itself 22nd Century Toys. :( It sure feels like that's the situation to me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they've just gone into super "sleep" mode to regroup and restructure financially. It's possible...

I was trying to track down a US distributor or importer for that 1/18 RC Panzer IV and the alibaba site came up on some google search I made and somehow I found the above link. I'm pretty clueless about modern armor but was thinking it may be some type of LAV prototype or something.

They're 110% legit. I've bought from Monkey Depot several times over the years and always been happy. I had a huge order last week that was delivered right away.

Yep, there's some type of "blammo" extra discount on multiple purchases for some of these. The pak40 ends up being only $8 if you buy a few of them. :D

next toy fair is NYC, Feb 15th - 18th. Hopefully we'll get some news then but I'm not getting my hopes up, Toy Fair is losing steam for smaller manufacturers since it's stupid expensive to do anything at Javitts center. All the big companies have their own private showrooms over by flatiron.
