I found two versions of the Johnny Lightning Greatest Generation 1/18 Jeeps at Meijers in Normal, Illinois. They had a Military Police and a Navy version, $29.99 each. I did not pick any up but they looked good.

Re: Shipping Idiots!
If I were to ship a package to someone in town it would go to a sorting facility 45 miles away and then back. Used to be a sorting facility in but they closed it to centralize!

Re: Bunker Hill Avenger worsening horror w/silver lining
RMOORE456: Thanks for the tip. I once tried to cut the tip off of a straight pin to use as a replacement pitot for a 1/72 F-14. But the pin only left a dent in the blade of the cutting tool. I didn't realize pins were that strong. Maybe I'll try it again if I can find something with a stronger blad...

Re: Bunker Hill Avenger worsening horror w/silver lining
TMANTHEGREAT: Any suggestions on the metal pins you used for your Avenger? My Avenger stabilizer is a clean break with both tabs stuck in the fuselage. I have used common sewing pins. Just cut the head off to the desired length. I leave the pointed end on, that helps to insert in hole. Glue with su...

Re: So, who knows about this?
I would say that is a poorly done repaint. At least 4 of the planes shown are repaints: The Red Fw190A The Chinese Zero The White SkyCapt P-40 (1/18)? The British Tbolt (3) are 1/18 scale (2) P-40's and a P-51D What is interesting is the 5-Star P-47 Tbolt. I have never seen that one and is quite po...

Re: Do you keep the empty boxes?
I have kept the boxes for my 1/72 planes. For my 1/72 armor I have some still in the box, most are loose but I have the plastic display boxes. If I decide to sell I wonder if it is worth the trouble of matching the box with the tank and putting it back together. I recently sold all my 1/18th and jus...

Re: DeAgostini Launching WW2 German Warbird Series
Here is a link to some photos of a crashed Me210/410 with the same markings that Deagostini used. This is why I made my comment on the crosses. http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/aircraft-pictures/accidents-losses-32006-4.html I have to agree on the light blue-gray undersides which I neglected to ment...

Re: DeAgostini Launching WW2 German Warbird Series
I just received one of the new M 210/410. Not to bad. The camo scheme is overall dark gray with dark green splinters which are hard to see. From what I have found in research is that the fuselage and upper wing crosses are wrong. They should be the just white outline. Also the instructions show putt...

Does anyone have a way to remove the screw plugs on 21st Century planes without damaging the plane or plug?

Re: PROTOTYPES!!!! 1/18 scale Old West Cowboys from ToyFair
I looked at the planes, no way they are 1/6 scale, more likely 1/12 scale? A P-51 in 1/6 scale would have a wingspan of just over 6 feet. His dimensions weren't making sense anyway. Well if you consider his wingspan is actually the length of the individual wing. Add it to what the wid...

Found them today at the Normal, Illinois Walmart. There were 8 now 7. On the shelf near the police vehicles. All they had were the red tails but the box shows a P47, P51D, F104 and an FW190.

Re: NEW FOV 1/72 Panzer IV & 38(t) PICS
Recieved this yesterday. I've got a new favorite FOV 1:72 tank :D I know the detail is not as crisp as what would be found on a similar Hobby Master or Dragon offering, but its well done for a FOV vehicle and its the only Panzer 38 in 1:72 thus far. Besides, I'm always a fan of the FOV tank hallmar...

No, they cannot be deployed.EnemyAce wrote:That's really cool! Horch probably not as nice as the HM version, but a great combo.
Does anyone know if IXO/Altaya towed arty like this or the pak 40 (w/RSO) can be put in the deployed position with split trails?
