they are great as well as the previous days pics! Have you got any more photos with the Firefly? Is that a real Mk Vc? Is the MP Jeep yours?

Did anyone else have a problem where the prop blades are bent slightly back? When I look at the last picture of the Hworth's series I wonder if the prop blades were bent back or rather the entire propeller (if it's in one piece) was placed backwards just like in the 21CT pre-production 1/32 Stuka t...

Plenty of countries in Eastern Europe and South America would be more than willing to produce this sort of stuff. Quality would probably go up as well with workers who weren't under the watchful eye of their friendly CHICOM party members all day. However I can imagine that China would not be too ha...

Polish Spitfire Mk. Vb

I said several times that my favorite company, 21st Century Toys, had to release the most beautiful Polish Spitfire: the Jan Zumbach's "Donald Duck" from 303 Sq. My "prophecy" is coming true now: http://www.21stcenturytoys.com/area21/articles.asp?newsID=332 I understand that great companies donate a...

Re: 1:32 RC Sherman tank

This is a "Heng Long" made 1/30 (not 1/32) M4A3. We discussed about it some time ago. It's gun is really wrong (the muzzle break!), the machine gun on the turret is similar to the MG-34 (!). The tracks are very fragile. Too fragile. But you are right, the details of the hull and the very realistic w...

Olifant,
I live in Rzeszow (150 km east of Krakow). Yes, there are many places in Poland which are worth seeing but Krakow is no doubt the first. I studied 11 years just in Krakow and know the city, it's history, monuments and museums very well. Let me know when you'll be in Krakow.
Thanks

Olifant, there were two uprisings in Warsaw. The first one was the Ghetto Rising, which took place April/May 1943. In that time was the Soviet-German front very far from Warsaw (it was before the battle of Kursk!). The Nazis decided to exterminate all Jews living in the Warsaw Ghetto. The Jews wante...

Well, no Oscar for Andrzej Wajda's "Katyn"... A bit sad. Irrespective of the movie's quality (it is very good for me) it was a chance to show the important (but rather unknown outside Poland) part of the Polish history to the world. I hope "Katyn" will be released in your countries - the Oscar nomin...

21 Century Toys made a nice Firefly turret. They need only to make a M4A4 hull and the Sherman Mk Vc (the most produced 17 pdr Sherman version) will be ready.

I agree with Olifant. I like the "regular" African painting (and have one)more than the Snake. I will going to buy the simply dark green / black green scheme Stuka (France 1940, that means Battle of Britain, doesn't it?), too. I also agree, the 21CT Ju-87 is a great mold.

Perhaps we all need to go in shares in a 1/32 co-op and distribute these things to ourselves factory direct... 8) It would be great. We in Poland (=my sons and I) need a direct source of 1/32 pre-built models: the buying of them in the US Internet shops is workable only when you order tons of items...

Hmmm... I can understand that mom. OK, we all treat the WW II aircrafts and tanks models as... the WW II aircrafts and tanks models, not as the nazi (or communist) propaganda. When I was a child I received the model kits of all countries war planes; I needed Nazi planes (they were forbidden in the S...

unusual paint scheme for a mk I/II spitfire...in fact no mk i's were flown in those colours and i suspect the only mk II's that were would have had wing cannon, which this one doesnt seem to have. Andrew, you are right, the scheme is really unusual. Probably all Mk I and most Mk IIA's had the older...
