If the F-104 was made specifically for the European market, I wonder what else we'll see 21st make to target the European market? :?:

You have a good point Aferg. Or maybe it will encourage the production of one that will be aimed at individuals such as ourselves and not generally to kids.

I agree with you P. When BBI revealed the Corsair they stated something to the effect that among all the aircraft they have had requested of them, it was the one they chose to do. Where are all these numerous request coming from? Now the rumor is that they may be attempting to produce an F-15 next y...

We've seen there is a 21st 1/18 A-10 but getting them to produce it is the problem. BBI is the only one at this point that has been willing to take on aircraft of the A-10's size. They have the capability to do the A-10 in 1/18 scale. The box they have should be big enough. The question is why haven...

I agree with Ski, this would be a sad turn of events if this is where the Elite Force line is headed. That means the realism and detail goes down the drain. I hope that the aircaft and armor we've been getting from BBI wonn't got his route, especially an A-10..... :(

Let's hope BBI throws out the A-10 ww2collector. If not, 21st already has a prototype, maybe we just need to encourage them with it like the Zero.

Hats off to 21st century. It's a great feeling to know that they are listening to what the fans want and although it may take them a long time to deliver the product, they deliver it with unbeatable quality. Quality that is worth the wait. :D

Hey now..no need for the hostility towards the A-10. You got your Zero. Let's see a little more modern jets in the line now. At least they do have an A-10 and there is a greater chance of it becoming a reality. Besides, the B-25 is larger than the A-10.

Congrats on getting the Zero. I'm taking this as a very good sign from 21st. The way they kept this under wraps was amazing. Who knows what they are working on. Now if they will just finish and release that A-10 they have. :D

I agree with the time and gas saving for the difference in price. I just hope that Bad Cat will offer the camo version at that same price when it is available for purchase. :?

If the Avenger is not going to sell through Wal-Mart, then let's hope it does good through the other outlets it is sold at. If it does well it may open the door for 21st to produce aircraft that won't fit in that standard box or price range. It could lead to better things.

I'm not bashing 21st. 21st is a great company. I have my opinions about a particular aircraft (A-10) just like many have their opinions about another particular aircraft (Zero) that they want in 1/18. That is what this forum is about...being able to discuss and share your opinions about this greaty ...

I have the shelf space already made for a couple A-10's (according to the specs for a 1/18 scale version) to accompany my F-16 and F-18.....just waiting to see if it will ever happen. I believe they have the shelf space just like they have for those 1/6 scale R/C tanks that never move and the new 1/...

World War II aircraft do sell well, but which modern jets that have been produced so far (F-16 & F-18) have had placement in a store like Wal-Mart that the everday public frequents? Comparing the great sales on the WWII aircraft vs. Modern Jets I think is hard to compare when not a single modern air...

But the A-10 is a much more recognizable aircraft to the "mass" public. Alot more appeal with the hardware that could come with it. In my opinion I don't think sales would stagger that much.

A-10

Don't count out seeing an A-10 in 1/18 scale. 21st has produced one already. I think that with time and enough encouragement, one will be put out there in 1/18 for us. BBI or 21st.
