I believe you have to have interests in this hobby to want something. Even if it is produced or not produced. What's wrong with wishing or wanting? Did you not read Bad Cats new letter for the Zero? Had it not been for the wishing and wanting of people interested in this hobby, the Zero would not ha...

Look at it this way, nearly all the aircraft that have been considered at this point to be "high sellers" have been produced. With the exception of the Hellcat in the WWII line, what else is there but more obscure or larger subjects. I know that BBI hasn't done a P-47, P-38, Sptifire, etc.. If they ...

My thoughts exactly Wise. Only I don't think the engines would have to be removed. If the wing disassembly point was made just outside the main gear pods on each side, the engines could be left on the fuselage. When you look at the A-10's profile from above, you can see the engines don't protrude ou...

I agree on more new products and less repaints. There are many more good subjects (Modern Aircraft, Modern Armour, WWII Armour) that can be done instead of rehashing the same thing that has been done or that someone else has done. If this hobby is going to grow, NEW items need to be introduced inste...

I posted some pics of a 1/48 scale A-10 and 1/48 scale F-18 in the "I'm on a Hunger Strike.....for an A-10" thread. Gives some size comparison.

Here are some pics I took of a 1/48 scale A-10 and a 1/48 scale F-18. The pictures give a good size comparison of the two aircraft. The A-10 is big, but I don't think it is that much bigger. The fuselage is just a little under the length of the F-18. It's real size issue I believe is the wingspan. The wingspan is actually longer than the fuselage!! However the wings wouldn't be attached to the fuselage anyway. Depending on how t...

I never would have to see a prototype of the A-10 to want it. It's that cool of an aircraft and it looks like many others here agree. Since I started collecting 1/18 I've wanted an A-10 to be done in this scale. It fits in perfect with the other modern equipment. Our armour and troops need close air...

I saw the Target A-10 yesterday myself. It is neat for what it is intended for. What is amazing is the detail that did go into it for it to be a $20 toy. The cockpit had detail to it. The paint scheme is very cool and what is even more surprising are the unit markings. The unit markings and paint sc...
