What is happening with the 144 scale retail market?

It seems that Dragon hasn't had anything new out in quite a while. Is Takara/WTM still manufacturing in this scale? Where have all the retail outlets gone? The WTM website http://www.world-tank-museum.com/products.html hasn't been updated since 2011. Everything seems to either be out of stock or the...

Re: Admiral Toys Information Q&A (Jason)

My preference was for the 1/72 scale tanks.

All metal. True die-cast. (Well. Plastic roadwheels, tracks, a few minor parts but essentially true diecast.)

Oh well.

Re: Axis & Allies War at Sea complete listing

I found a different set of listings at http://community.wizards.com/wiki/Aa:Wa ... itionZebra which has links to the rest.

It's not quite the one I was looking for but it does solve my question. This is a link in their forum(s).

Re: Axis & Allies War at Sea complete listing

They have a War at Sea Gallery (1st set) and a Task Force Gallery (#2) and that's all I could find there. I did find (the URL I "lost") a site that had all five (six?) sets, right up to TFV. Each its own page. I found it so easily I thought it would be a cinch to get back to it. BWA HA HA... no such...

Axis & Allies War at Sea complete listing

Does anyone have a URL that will provide complete lists of all the A&A:WaS sets?

I found one, then lost it and cannot find it again.

Finding it the first time was very easy.

Isn't this the same progression that every company has demonstrated. Superb early offerings whose quality goes down as the company matures.

I've seen it in so many companies across a broad range of businesses over several decades.

I'd say it is more of simply being jobbed. Painting in a way that was easiest to program their painting machine to do. Straight lines.

Don't give them too much credit AG. They are more likely to hit you by accident than by design: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2001010/SWAT-team-launch-dawn-raid-family-home-collect-womans-unpaid-student-loans.html?ito=feeds-newsxml And they are more likely to hit you just because you have ...

I bought a dozen of the FoV PzIV-Hs for $5/each about two years ago!

Even $12/each is a high price for them. But $20? Ridiculous!

Re: 2011 FOV 1/32 releases

I always felt the FoV 1/32 figures to be a bit thick. Looked like bodybuilders in military gear. I still do like the scale but haven't bought anything since 21stC went out of business. Their 1/72 military vehicles have never been up to the standard that Dragon has set in that scale. I do like the sc...

I built a renwal atomic cannon when they first came out. Unfortunately it blew up all my army men at the time and unilaterally disarmed me. I've stayed away from them ever since.

Re: Any Love for the 1:700 Scale Ships?

I think 1/700 is a great scale for ships.
Excellent detail and not too too big to wargame.
i/1200 is terrific but the detail is not good enough for my old, rheumy eyes.

Re: corgi fighting machines panzer 4 question

I liked 1/285, myself. CinC and GHQ provide beautiful models with awesome detail. Plus you can fit an entire platoon or company where a mere section tread. Also the cost of a company is well under $20.00.
