If you like dinosaurs you can't really go wrong in picking up a PAPO Allosaur or two (they were "The Wolves of the Jurassic", you know) and starting your own pack. The Spinosaur was a friendly little "I'd rather be fishing" piscavore. The Raptors are really nice too, by the way.

Since I clearly don't have a life here are Papo Allosaur & Spinosaur. The Allo is ~11" long and the Spino is ~15". http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/photbug/DSC05650.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/photbug/DSC05651.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/photbug/DSC05652.jpg http:...

I ADD: Safari makes aq large (13" nose to tail tip) leaping Siberian Tiger (in both orange and white) which is the best Tiger and by far the best Safari figure ever. The orange even nicer than the white.... Papo also makes some excellent Tigers (and Tigress). Smaller (~7.5") but extraordinarily deta...

My first model tank was the Revell M-4 Sherman. 98c if I recall.

I also built a fleet out of the Revell ships.

Yes. The Tiger, Panther, Bradley are more like 1/87. The Abrams maybe 1/100. The casting on these is also very simple, the main armament(s) either plastic or rubber, the tracks are one piece with the running gear and they have little wheels. On the other hand the turrets and hulls are die-cast metal...

Cool! 8) Thanks for the pic. That certainly looks like they are loading a Marder. Great proof. Although I do have to say that being able to air transport something does not mean it is necessarily designed to be so. I would guess that the Germans were in the middle of trying to figure out how to figh...

That was how I felt for a long time. But then I decided to just black out the interior of the cockpit "glass" (kind of like tinting the windows of your hopped up Mustang) and they look fine.
