So far I have customized and finished my F6F and Old Crow. Nothing big just added brakes lines and tires nothing big. Right now I am customizing my BBI P-51D HHH. So far I have repainted the yellow and red checkers on the nose and added new tires. Its looking good so far but whether I have the chanc...

Wow this is a tough one for sure. I would say that I have 3 favorites and they are:

1-BBI F6F Hellcat Gadget.
2-BBI Marines Dream FG-1D Corsair.
3-21st Century's Old Crow.

Its a close race between those 3.

I think my days of 1/18th are over until the Admiral Dauntless comes out or BBI comes out with a repaint of Dave Mcampbells Minisi III F6F. Until then though the 1/18th thing is over for awhile. Now its 1/48th and 1/32nd only.

I have joined the Dark Side!

Cool! 21st is coming out with a 1/32nd D model Mustang. I'm very impressed by 21st's B/C Mustangs in 1/32nd and you know something? I may switch to 1/32nd only. 21st is very impressive in this area.

Wow! Add another F6F to my collection. Anyword on a release date for the Hellcat? It may be in 1/48th scale but I will take it. Maybe 21st will eventually upgrade it to 1/32nd scale. Way to go 21st.

I just came back from my Walmart and they had zip for 1/32nd planes and all they had was about 2 Old Crows and 1 BBD in 1/18th. Those have been sitting there for awhile because of the messed up paint schemes. Its getting tireing no doubt and with gas prices on the rise its getting to the point of ju...

How To Make Rivets.

Hey guys I wanted to know if anyone out there knows how to make rivets? The reason I ask is I'm trying to put rivets on one of my aircraft thats lacking them. Is there a way to make them or is there a tool to use? Anyone who can help I would appreciate it.

When it comes to 1/18th aircraft from BBI? It seems it took them almost 2 years to release the F6F. I highly doubt we will see any new 1/18th Jets or WW 2 planes this year from any of the big 3. But I could be wrong. As for 1/18th scale olifant some planes are very nice such as the BBI Corsair and H...

I can proudly say that I'm not one of those who has done that! Its ripping people off is what its doing. Then either 21st or BBI gets the blame for it.

Sad.

I hear that. The BBI Corsair (Marines Dream) is excellent in every way for me. The Hellcat? I have had no problems with the landing gear as others have and I just love it, in fact its now my all time favorite 1/18th aircraft. 21st does come close to the BBI Corsair with their 1/32nd Corsairs though ...

Hey tko heres a question for you. Will 21st ever consider the idea of coming out with Ground Crew figs for 1/18th aircraft? I think this would be a super idea and the figs I believe would sell very well. I know I would buy them and I'm sure a couple of other guys on here would as well. I know they a...

First off I think it is high time that 21st re-do their Corsair and add a removable engine cowl, gun lockers a detailed wing fold and proper landing gear with proper tire width, and an improved cockpit, flaps with full range of motion….ect I think that the legend series should have an aircraft with...

Mike says 'wait and see' on the Dave McCampbell Hellcat....but he likes the idea. Likes the idea? This should have been BBI's first Hellcat release in my book. Why? Because were talking about a Medal Of Honor winner and were talking about a guy who scored 38 kills second I believe only to Richard B...

I have the same question tko. Does Roy work on the paint schemes of the 1/32nd P-51's? I will be getting Berlin Express and believe it or not it will be my first 1/32nd P-51. I know Roy worked on the BBD and Old Crow paint scheme for the 1/18th Mustangs because him and I have talked about Old Crow h...

For me the best is the BBI Corsair. The detail is incredible, you cant get any better for the price. My Marines Dream Corsair is an eye catcher for anyone who comes to my house. It always gets top comments, even over my beloved Mustangs and Hellcat! If you going 1/18th go BBI. If your going 1/32nd g...

The reason I want one so bad is because its a 357th bird and 2 Maj Overstreet was Maj Anderson's wingman on a few occasions. It would look very nice sitting next to my 1/18th Old Crow (thangs again grunt!). Thanks grunt for the pic. I want it very bad. I guess I will have to swing by my local Walmar...
