Re: Tamiya Paint Quality Issues
With the near impossible mission of finding Tamiya paints here in the US this past year; about 2 months ago I bought 5 cans of the Fine Surface Primer (Light Gray) from a hobby seller in China. I have always used this primer with abosolutly NO problems in the past. The first of the factory sealed ne...

I also got my Elefant Tank kit today; and wanted to thank Jon (Jnewboy) for all the effort he put in to get these for us. Between making all of the arrangements and keeping on top of things till they were sent from China, Jon went above and beyond for us. Thank You!!! This is just a fantastic kit an...

Re: Tamiya Spray Lacquer
I have found Ebay to be the best source of Tamiya paints right now. I use their fine surface primer for many of my projects and had to by 6 cans of it from a seller in China. My local hobby store owner told me about the label problem and that his sales rep for this paint has promised more stock befo...

Re: Started on a Non-Military Model
Looks like it is one of the Shuttles from the Classic Battle Star Galactica. Similar shape and they had the 4 "tanks" on top like the piece on the left and two long engines. Thats my guess but I would say im 98% sure that's what it is. Loved that show and all the ships from it.

Re: Vacu-forming
A few years ago a friend and I tried our hand at Vacu-forming. I felt it was a lot tougher then I thought it would be and we kind of gave up on it after quite a number of tries. I am not an expert and I am sure we made many mistakes but here is what I found out: 1) If you make your own vacu-form box...

I remeber reading somewhere that they were allowed to keep making Kettenkrads for many years after the war becuase they were being used as farm tarctors or something like that; and for that reason they were a more readily available German vehicle for collectors.

I'm lucky enough to own the one in the pictures from the Hun's site. Bought it off him a number of years ago. A fantastic piece and made really well. I am not sure how many or if he made any more. It is one of my favorite pieces. It really should have been a no brainer for 21st century to make that ...

Re: why are there two different GI Joe Mountain Howitzer bar
The actual barrel of the Mountain Howitzer was a seperate piece - it was pressed on over the front post of the body of the cannon. It looks from those pictures that the one cannon has this piece and the other only has the post. I believe that the early versions of this cannon had a smaller post than...

FYI I have not heard of any plans to release armor as of yet. As pickle points out- armor simply doesn't sell nearly well enough compared to planes... But you never know... Things can always change. For now my money is on no armor- at least for the short term future. Well if this is in fact true, i...

NORSICAN Said - "I would order one but I'm not confident this relationship would work, you don't seem to handle to opinions of others very well. Re: Pirated 21CT...that many?
I am still trying to figure out how All Go has been "in business" as long as it has. These guys either have a boat load of investor / personal capital to burn or they have free rent / utilites, and are all working out of the goodness of their hearts. I have been in small business for a while and for...

Re: Pirated 21CT...that many?
I like further down that page where they list about 9 different aircraft that they are "All new 1:18 scale aircraft being considered for 2012" - Not one mention of the King Tiger :( - I think All Go sould spend less time informing us that their stuff is being pirated and a little less time "consider...

tow cables do sound like a great idea. Lots of different guys make stowage of different kinds for the tanks but none make tow cables.
