A forum member had a Bunker Hill corsair on Ebay just recently. Im sure it is still there, it was for a pretty good "Buy It Now" price. I would have bought it, but I already had one and couldnt justify it.

Yeah, I knew about that one. The problem is that I am unable to keep up to tabs with ebay auctions here while deployed to the desert. But thanks for the post!

Looking for FW-190D-9 "Black 1"

Anyone have a "Black 1" D-9 they are willing to part with? It is the last one that I need to complete my collection of Doras. I will be willing to make it worth your while. Would prefer one in a box because I am currently deployed on a combat camera team and it would have to sit for while at my hous...

The Marineflieger version is my favorite. My dad used to be in charge of ground radar sites in Germany in the early seventies and told me about working with the Germans while they flew them. He said he always hated how they flew them because they tried to fly them low level when they were not design...

Yep, those were the good ole days. I still remember seeing that Lou IV and thinking how I just yearned for something like that when I was a kid. Of course I just had to have it. Then I just had to have the Messerschmidt, then the Panther, the Kubelwagen and the rest, they say, is history.

JSI Corsair and Lightning

I just got the new planes here in Turkey, and I have to tell you, they are pretty. I am not too keen on the "weathering" on the corsair. It looks like the work I did when I was twelve with a basic testors brush, but the base paint looks sharp and the fit and finish, from what I can see through the p...

I would actually have to say my Lou IV. It was the first airplane I ever bought, it was the one that started my obsession. It has followed me from California to South Carolina and then to North Dakota. If I could have taken it here to Turkey I would have. Despite all the moves, it has never been dam...

I have all three. I think value and rarity are subjective terms. What is rare to one isnt rare to another. These days, just about any plane you can find cheap is a good find. If you can go back and get them, I would do it. I love the Stuka personally and the Undertaker is the only Pacific P-51. Plus...

MG-42 is great to do business with!

I concluded business with MG-42. I bought the Black 12 Fw-190 and he was in contact with me quickly and professionally. He sent the plane in a great box and sent right on time. I would recommend this gentleman any time! Do not hesitate to work with him at all!!

Scored a "Mitch's Squitch!"

Found a 'Squitch' new in box in the local hobby shop. Paid 49.99 for it. Not too bad considering. Thankfully the wife saw the deal for what it is. Now if I can just get her to stop calling them my "stupid airplanes." Silly wives, they will never understand!!

Personally, Im biased when it comes to the Avenger. I always thought it was a wonderful airplane. No it wasnt sexy or very agile, but it was tough as they came and gave a solid powerful attack. Plus it was big and powerful, and being next to one, it just seems impressive. Any Avenger you can get, ge...

Guess it is time to really take care of what we have... These things will be too expensive to replace. Good luck with that one, with the demise of 21st Century Toys, anything by that company is now incredibly rare and thus expensive. This is especially true for the "Checker-Tail" which hasnt been available by retail for a LONG time. Ebay and the like are your only bets, unless JSI decides to reproduc...
