Re: Best Brand Normandy Paratrooopers?

I can't do Ebay any more, (burn in hell PayPal!) is there a good site I can get Dragon figures from? Do they even still make them? I haven't collected WWII figures in a long time so I'm kinda out of the loop here.

I always have big ideas about customizing but I have tremors and can't do any brush work. Plus I'm lazy so my stuff stays original.

I have the Chicom tank and it is a really nice piece. I bought a whole bunch of the little sets just for the wall pieces. The figures suck though.

Oh dear god, I forgot about that stinkburger! I will have to dig it out and watch it and the super-scary Mexican Santa Claus movie for the holidays.

Von Klaus would kick ass.

T-34 crews were mesmerized by the brightly glittering camo giving the Panzers the opportunity to knock them out at their leisure!

They did get called nasty names by their fellow tankers though.

Re: What is your most valuable and/or favorite model?

My favorite is the 21st 1:32 "Checkertail Clan" Double Nothin' P-51D. I really dig the scheme, especially after reading about some of the group's adventures. I got this when 21st sold at Target under another name. I think 21st folded up soon afterwards. I also love my Folgore and Veltro. Wish I coul...

Re: PTE Recons

Rows, what's the "checkpoint" exactly? I've not seen that. The SWAT checkpoint set, or at least that's what I call it includes a raising bar like the kind of thing you would see at the entrance to military base. It isn't really big, more like pedestrian sized. It is set into a dirt colored base whi...

Re: PTE Recons

Picked up three of the $3.50 blown-up wall packs and the checkpoint pack. I already have a few towers which I really like. I was surprised to find one whole side of the aisle devoted to PTE at my Big Lots. As for the figures, use them for drivers in GI Joe vehicles when you want to display the real ...

TRU 1:48ish diecast P-38 and P-47?

I saw these today I was rushing through so I didn't have time to inspect them closely. The look pretty nice considering they are like 14 bucks.
