That or a nice 3/4" or 1" ratchet. I helped a friend of my dad's work on a big International tractor one time using a 1" ratchet with a 4 inch socket--the ratchet handle was almost 3 feet long, and the thing must have weighed 30 pounds! Talk about a club!

As sad as it sounds, I am afraid that 21st and bbi wouldn't see a lot of sales potential there, since they aren't "soldiers". On the other hand, include a cool weapon, even if us hard-core enthusiasts would never put it in their hands (a few wrenches would be cool, though), it just might work. I sti...

As for limited editions I bought a 1/12 Ferrari F50 - Red Version Semi-Assembled a great looking car. Spent a small fortune from a Hong Kong dealer to get it  but its worth it. 8) We won't even talk about it--I have a die-cast 1/8 scale Ferrari Testarossa and 1/8 F-40, both from Pocher Rivaro...

I have to admit: I am really impressed with my Avenger, and it is one of the first generation planes without screw plugs and all. It looks sweet hanging in my office at work--and any client that stops in is wowed just by the size and detail as it is. I kind of envy those of you that got the "new and...

No kidding... On the other hand, I do have a response for an earlier comment:
"It is far easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission."

And a hell of a lot more satisfying, most of the time.

(btw...it's not really that cold here right now....around the freezing mark...and no snow. Much colder and snowier in many parts of the US :P ). Yeah, for example, like here. And we are still comparatively warm compared to places like the Dakotas! At least we only got a couple inches of lake effect...

It's a common enough concept--I have 1/18 and 1/43 die-cast Ferrari models from the early '90's that range form 1- or 2-piece molded engines (some nothing more than a shaped piece on a flat backing panel) to detailed right down to separate plug wires, hoses, belts, etc. Same with interiors, suspensi...

Strange... whereas my Walmart, which currently has only one XD plane--an old Bf-109G6 that has been there since last winter--they have about 4 each of the SA P-40s and the desert Stuka. Plus both Dogfight aircraft 2-packs that I know of...

Hey, just had a thought. Sorry, but I'm sure it'll be worth 'bout what all my thoughts are worth. Even so, you are now subjected to it. With the recent change in detail level, etc, is 21c diversifying? Will there now be a Wally World Grade and a Collectors Grade? It works for several other manufact...

I don't know what kind of development time Admiral put into creating their F-86 or Me-262, but I would think their is likely a couple years (or more) of research, design, tooling, etc. involved. And I know the 21st is in the same boat--look at the Avenger! When I first got into this hobby 2+ years a...

Maybe they can clear them out if they slap some chrome spinner rims on them or paint them neon colors with a big wing spoiler and some random Japanese letters sprinkled down the sides... Seems to work with the massive stock of RC Escalades, Eclipses and 74 Caddies...

I can't believe it. The new german figures have Wermacht in huge letters on the package. And it's totally wrong. Correct would be We h rmacht. There are so many errors on the german language packages in the last time. It's okay when it's a tiny error in a name or something. I just smiled when I rea...

I have seen some dozers in 1/16 scale at tractor shows, but most seem to be more modern... I am sure there are some old ones out there though! Those tractor collectors make us XD guys look mellow in comparison!
