Griffin
Andy, Congrats on getting the Macchi from Griffin Aerospace. They are very nice people to work with and they do offer very competitive prices. They are good with harder to find subjects and you should be happy with your model. I bought a Miss America P-51 from them and a P-6E Hawk. I have been happy...

DC-3
Andrew, I will defintely look into it for you. I can tell you one problem that is going to be a problem for you is that you are going to have to make some kind of drive shaft so you can attach the props. Normally the props hook to the drive shafts that are part of your normal airfcraft engines. That...

Nice
Andy, This is a great airplane at the R/C field. I know two people in my club that fly these machines. They are great airplanes and fly really nice. They are wonderfully detailed and fairly easy to build (compared to other R/C ers). Three blade props and other accessories are available at online and...

Battle of the Bulge
Hi All, Just thought I would add to this a little bit: My great uncle fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the Glider Infantry units on the ground. He was in the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment. The book "Let's Go" by Wayne Pierce is about this particular unit. Anyway he was killed in the battle. H...

Hi John, That is the same model I have of the Albatross. I strangely enough don't remember who actually got it for me, I assume my grandfather, but not sure anymore. I know it is old and it has lost some of its luster. I also have a homemade B-17 he made me as a child. I'll take a shot of that somet...

Albatross
John, I just always liked the Albatross. I think it is the type of plane that really tells what the USCG is all about. A very versatile, well designed and dependable airplane. I would have rather had it in the gray scheme though, but oh well. It is one of the first airplanes I had in my collection. ...

PZL P-11 and PWS-26 photos
Hi Guys I had some pictures of a PZL P-11 and a PWS P-26 on my computer and thought they might be of some use to someone as a reference. There are also photos of P-6E Hawks I have online. They are in my webshots gallery. The Polish fighters are in the "Main Gallery Section", P-6E photos have a seper...

Guys, Thanks for the input, I thought it was O scale just by looking at the figure packs at the hobby store, but wasn't sure. I knew it wasn't HO, those guys are way too small! Interestingly too, G Scale looks to be about 1/20 judging by the size of the figures., THey are about the same size as the ...

train figures question
Hi Guys,
I am curious, what train figures are accurate for 1/48 scale stuff. I am not sure if it is Ho or a larger scale such as O. I think G is closer to 1/18. I know one of the train scales is generally close to 1/48. Any help is really appericated

Hello Everyone, I know there are some Cox airplane guys on the board so I thought I'd offer these parts on here first. Basically, these are leftover parts that came from two aircraft to build a good one. The good one will never fly so nothing will get broken. Now I have these leftover parts and figu...

Hi Everyone, First of all, my first grade students are smarter than this clown. When they don't do their homework, they usually simply say they didn't do it or forgot to. First graders are certainly more mature than this person is. Heck, we have computers in my classroom, my first graders are smart ...

Hi, This gets better by the hour it seems. This is like a show of Cops or CSI. I applaud the board members who have put this person on the run. A-10
Andy, I think I can help you with this, I have seen a few of these at the R/C fields. First of all, contary to what any ebay seller will tell you, the foam is very breakable. The A-10 comes from a long line of park flyers by this company, and they are all built the same way. The foam is tough but no...
