I also have the LCM diorama. :) I used ZAP A GAP. It is a thick super glue, although any super glue would probably be ok. Along with this I also use Zip Kicker which is an accelerator for super glues. This pretty much cures the glue instantly. Your going to need glue to keep the "running" figures st...

This is where I got a display case (with mirrored back) for the Dragon 1/72 LCM diorama.

Use the links on the left to find the size you need. They also make custom sizes. A little expensive, but I was impressed with the one I received.

M48 received

I received the M48 today, off e-bay, from a seller in Spain. I really like this piece, even though I'm spoiled by the current detail in Dragon's 1/72 offerings. (M48 is one of my favorites) 8) The paint job is very plain, with just a few details picked out; like the lights, jerry can strap, tow cabl...

 Like to see them shrink their remaining vehicles down to 1/72 as well.

Especially:

GRANT
MATILDA
M60A1 PATTON w/ reactive armor

The Motor Pool received the 4 1/72 soldier packs and the remaining 1/72 armor this past week. I just got the US WWII soldiers yesterday from them. Very nice set. Includes two fuel cans (gonna stick these on the Sherman), two drums, one wooden sign post (no lettering), and one large dirt embankment w...

Somebody currently makes some WWII ships in a smaller scale. I have seen them recently at Hobby Lobby-sorry don't know the brand-possibly Specast. Todd Those are by Gearbox. Ray Yea. Gearbox only has made 6 ships so far in 1/700 scale. Arizona, Missouri, New Jersey, Indianapolis, Hornet, & Intrepid...

I think these would look pretty good with a quick wash & drybrush to bring out the highlights. Follow with a nice dullcote to eliminate the toy-like look. :D

Thanks for the pictures, Tshintl.

I went to Altaya's site before, but could not figure out the link to more pictures.

I believe that lineup is the same that I saw on Mike's site.

New IXO info !!

:D New info from Motor Pool's homepage: In a bid to enter the lucrative military diecast market, Spanish-based Altaya has announced plans to produce a wide range of 1:72 scale armor. While details are still sketchy regarding pricing and dates of availability, Altaya (who apparently has some sort of ...

new FOV Sherman at Target

Saw a new edition of the 1/32 scale FOV Sherman Tank at Taget in Taunton, MA today. It was O.D. Green with two bands of Earth Brown camo across it. Accesories appeared to be the same as the regular, first mass market release.

Hey EnemyAce, There is a drawing in New Vanguard Sherman Medium Tank 1942-45 by Osprey Publishing showing the other tank. Although it is not exact, the camo pattern is the same. Shows as belonging to 3 Platoon, 'B' Co., 8th Tank Battalion, US 4th Armored Division Avranches, Fance, 1944. While I no l...
