if you hang them from the ceiling, all you see is the bottom. that's not good for the verticaly challenged audience.

the 17 was taxiing to the camera and it is just an effect of the shutter speed of the camera.

1/18's spotted at the musem of Flight, Seattle

I was at the museum today to see the the B-17 giving out rides. (still might go up if i get the money, $400) and stopped by the gift shop and look what i found. sorry for poor pics, camera phone is all i had. Notice the 38's at frame left. they had a good selection but a 20-15$ mark-up, i'm afraid. ...

I hang them from the tail with some "Invisible" fishing line. I forget what pound test line it is. The line isn't the typical white color of fishing line. It's kind of brown in color and very hard to see unless you're right up on it. A single small nail where the ceiling meets the wall it what holds...

this method works ok for me; i never liked hanging them from the ceiling because no one can see all of the detail these planess have. this way you can walk up to them and spin the prop and look inside the cockpits.
