my personal website Hobby Master Collector

I've been tinkering around with a website just for Hobby Master. This way I can put all the information I get about present and future models in one place. It makes it easier for me to post this way instead of going to 5 or 6 forums. Most importantly it makes it easier for you to find information wi...

review of Hobby Master HA0112 Dauntless

This review is my personal opinion. HA0112 SBD-3 Dauntless VS-5, USS Yorktown "Battle of Coral Sea", 1942 1/72 die-cast display model Nicknamed "Barge" or "Clunk" the SBD also went by the nickname "Slow but Deadly." Like the Hobby Master Stukas, the packaging for the model is extremely well done. A ...

personal review of Hobby Master Mig-21

The Mig-21 I received and reviewed, is a pre-production model so the retail version will be even better. I offer this simply as food for thought. I'm very pleased with Hobby Master's choice of plane and the paint scheme. After seeing the weathering first hand, there definitely is no problem with it...

Hobby Master comments on their panel lines

“First, the Swastika decals for the Stukas, we can consider change for next version. As for the panel lines, we will try to improve but I need to say the real model looks better than it shows in the forums. Most of our distributors are satisfied with the quality. I am sorry that some people have mi...

"Hobby Master will make a 1/48 scale tank"

Here is an update from Hobby Master: "Our King Tiger will be released near the end of July and early August. The 1/48 will be our focal scale for AFV. there's no way of transferring posts into another thread, without doing a lot of copying and pasting, which i ain't gonna do. You can do it yourself if you like...just start a new thread and copy and paste all your old posts into it. But i don't think this needs to be overly complicated....just whe...

I want to start one main thread, "Everything Hobby Master" and have any of the posts that I have already made transferred into it. This way there will just be the one thread and any new posts I make will go into the central thread and be all in one place. This way you won't have to look at 5 or 6 po...

It is realistic looking, we'll have to see how Dragon does their Dragon Armor version once released later this summer. My largest fault with the 1/72 FOV Sherman is the tow cable/rope being moulded right onto the hull itself. You'd think they would have learned from their Sherman with mine roller r...

I started out in 1/32 but after 25 pieces I realized I was running out of display space rapidly. Just then Dragon came along in 1/72 and they provided the quality and detail I wanted but in a smaller scale. I can display 4 - 5 1/72 vehicles in the same space I could put 1 1/32.

I have no ties to Hobby Master and don't work for them. I simply gather some information about that company and post it for others to see. It is a new company that IMHO, has a good chance of producing a quality product with some diversity when it comes to subjects. The more companies that are availa...

Hobby Master Q&As for June 23, 2006

Q: (1) There has been some interest in your model pilots. They want to know if pilots will be available in all planes or just jets or what? The vast majority of collectors would like the plane to come with a pilot that can be easily removed for those few that don't want to display the model with one...

I can't guarantee that by making a list that Hobby Master will ...

What is your Hobby Master wish list for 2007?

I know Hobby Master reads these forums and takes your comments and suggestions very seriously. So, it would be great if everyone listed their TOP 5 planes in order of their importance to you: Your top 5 prop planes, and if you like, add the paint scheme you would want to see. (Country, squadron and ...
