questions for Hobby Master, let's give this a try

Rather than asking Hobby Master questions that are scattered all over this forum and 4 or 5 others, Hobby Master and I think that if you email me at hawkonevoodoo@yahoo.ca or PM me, it would be best for all concerned. Along with reading the posts for comments, I will compile all the email questions ...

July. So it will be available about 2 weeks later." UPDATE: “We shipped the order (Stuka and Dauntless) f...

Hobby Master will make a new scale

Here is an update from Hobby Master: "Our King Tiger will be released near the end of July and early August. The 1/48 will be our focal scale for AFV. We will slow down (or even stop) the 1/56 scale. 1) King Tiger: "Last Command" http://img476.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kingtigerlastcommand10lp.jpg ...

Re: Best Online Source for FOV Armor, Enthusiast Versions?

Probably been covered at some point, but what are your opinions for the best online source for FOV armor in the Enthusiast versions (vs the ones made for mass retail)? I'm thinking of picking up a few pieces. Thanks! The places that I find the best to deal with are http://www.thebattlerhino.com exc...

Re: Dragon Hummel and Hornisse release dates

I see the motorpool has bumped the Hummel and Hornisse from a November arrival to a December arrival...sigh...I wish they could meet a deadline! Hey Lighting, also I see you guys still have the Dragon Panthers with zimm and the halftracks listed...are they still on the docket for Dragon to release?...

It's really absurd to call something die-cast if the only metal is an irrelevant plate attached to the interior for weight. According to the dictionary - "die-cast adj : formed by forcing molten metal into a die" Bradleys - all plastic, not a die-cast model. There is more and more plastic creeping ...

and is there a particular reason you are waiting on the 118? Surely not just to take it apart? I collect every type of vehicle that Dragon puts out but not every version of every vehicle. I want 118 because of the paint scheme. 117 and 118 are both late Stug IVs and both from 1945 so I only want on...

These are Stugs, assault guns, and have no turret. One could pry the plastic gun and gun shield off to look inside but there is no real point to that. As I said, it probably does have a small plate because it has more weight than it should as (only) all plastic. The entire hull/chassis, wheels, gun...

Yes fov, that is what I meant. I don't even know if there is a little metal plate skulking around inside although there very likely is.... If the turret simply turns until notches line up and then lifts off, like Dragon models do, then the turret can be easily removed so you can see for sure if the...

new Witty Wings modern jets coming

If the rumor is correct, these are the Witty modern jets I want to get my hands on: from everything I've heard and seen, they are some of the best models out there. This list was compiled from information extracted from a thread originally posted by zed550. Witty future planes, blue hilited models a...

If their planes are even half as good as their cars they will be an excellent model for anyone that's into 1/48. Before I retired, I had a small business and one of the model lines I sold was Carousel 1 cars. I saw everyone they made up until then and let me tell you they were terrific in all aspect...

Re: Dragon Stug IV 60117

On the rear panel of this beautiful little stug are two hooks, placed horizontally and facing outward which look as if cables should be looped across them. But there aren't any cables. Was this an oversight on Dragon's part, or an oversight in manufacture? In any event it appears that the days of d...

Check this site out, you can pick any country profile listed and the vast majority of the ground vehicles would be great choices, IMHO. Somtimes when you select a country and a new page opens, you have to look down towards the bottom of the page to see any data. http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...

Because FOV has the impression that there is no demand for these sets. Hopefully this poll and others will help to change their mind.

I got an e-mail from Lisa Denmark Fri,Sept.23,2005 regarding these "new accessory packets" because I am interested in at least one of these. It's the "Road-block" or "Check-point" set. Very nice I might add too. You could do a lot with this one. Of course you can get the original Airfix's "Check-po...

If these sets were available in NA at a reasonable price?

I noticed that the only place to buy the FOV 1/32 accessory sets is in Europe. I also notice a lack of talk about them, is this because they aren't available in North America or because there is just a lack of interest, period. This is only for the 1/32 scale sets that are already available, not for...
