Dude that's wack, my S1 has the square tab at the front and the two round pegs in the stern and it fits the holes on the plane perfectly.

The aliens got ahold of your toy and altered it!

Stuka zu fushizzle

I think this is a cool variant. No complaints on this one. If they do a Hanomag with a radio antenna cage all of my wildest german halftack fantasies will have been brough to life.

cool plane. As for the missing screw hole plugs, I'll bet it is fixed down the road, but if someone can make some plastic disks or tapered cylinders and paint a few grey and a few white, and then sell the set for a few bucks, I think they'd pay for their Avenger in no time. I really love the atlanti...

Count me in as well. This one writes itself: In 1/18 scale: Fokker DR1 Spad XXIII Sopwith Camel Albatross SE5A (2-blade prop with Wolsely Viper engine dammit!) Fokker DVII Wow, these things are really selling and the forum guys are going nuts clamoring for more, so: Nieuport 17 Fokker Eindecker Airc...

XD Joe

When i was a kid I played with G.I. Joe (1982-1988ish) and I loved the stuff, especially the toys that were more realistic. I always wanted them to go more realistic and XD is what I wanted them to become. I wanted "XD with a story" as mentioned above, and as mentioned above, XD HAS a story, or rath...

huh?

(sighs loudly)...so...um...did we really...you know...jeeze (shrugs, looks so weary as to perhaps weep)...this is just...how to phrase it...did we really NEED 1/48 scale airplanes from 21st? Every time they put the same stuff out in another scale, it's just...my god, what's next? A cunning plan to p...

If someone were to make a 1/18 scale fantasy aircraft, I'd vote for some of the incredibly well designed anime aircraft from properties like Macross Zero or Yukikaze. Even the Talon from the subpar Stealth movie would be cool. The Firefox plane was great for its time, but there are so many other air...

Yeah TRU has delighted in selling fewer and fewer toyes in the past few years and selling more and more diapers, diaper creams, diaper wipes, diaper tables, diaper accessories, and other things related to diapers. Adults in this country quit playing decades ago and it would appear from looking at TR...

Sabre Neighbor

You guys at Admiral are doing a terrific job. The more detailed paint work on the Patricia Sabre is very nice. It is the only thing about the Limited Ediiton Sabre that I find attractive, the exclusivity and the numbered eiditon plates do not add any value to it in my view. I don't pay extra for "tr...

I like the 1/18 scale because I grew up with Star Wars and G.I. Joe and I always wanted realistic military stuff in that scale. It's a good compromise between figures that are large enough to be poseable and detailed and vehicles that are small enough to be reasoanbly affordable and fun. 1/6 is cool...

144 warbirds

Well they are kinda cool. I groaned when I hear they were doing another scale of airplanes but they could be a lot of fun for kids to play with on the table top or something. They're getting deeper and deeper into that rut where they make the same item in 27 different scales. It's great if you're a ...

A reworked Hanomag? Well that seems a tad conservative in light of the hype and resultant anticipation...but...no, I'm sure it's a very nice reworked Hanomag...and um...I guess you want to save the really amazing stuff for later in the year...right?

One who remembers One

Yes, I had some of those as a kid. I think I saw online that they also had an offshoot line of female military figures of WWII, but I don't remember ever seeing those. The sculpts were pretty good on the ones I had, articulation was cold Star Wars Vintage and I don't think they had any accessories. ...

Well, at least they didn't say "wait and see". I've only had one or two dealings with Bad Cat and they went well enough that I woud recommend them, and the situation you describe with your Zeke doesn't sound like they were too much out of line policy-wise, but the thing that bothers me is the somewh...

Cat Fight

If BBI does bring out a good 1/18 Hellcat, I'd love to see 21st put their recent hard-earned engineering experience together on a 1/18 Wildcat. The wing fold design looks to be worked out well on the TBF and that leaves the tricky gear retraction as a puzzler on the F4F.

Don't go Spastic just yet

I agree; hence the lack of overenthusiasm in my posts. It's a sign that at some point someone was thinking about making one enough to make a prototype, but the fact that it isn't sitting on its own gear is a clear sign that it's not all there. I think it shows that they would like to make a 1/18 sca...

Yeah you gotta love the pictures they took: almost gynecological intensity on covering the myriad Mustang repaints...and then a couple of over the shoulder candids of the freaking Hellcat prototype. Didn't see any photo restriction signs at the display so the 007 spy shots excuse doesn't wash. Anywa...
