These are not "ebay hiking" or "hobby shop" prices. Need to go. I dont want to let them go at a complete steal. But most are less than finding new at wallyworld or target.

i am sure it is. i dont look at teh tiny details, i just look at the overall picture... some may disagree, but for a little less price on ebay i am sure it will still sell quickly with "buy it now" tag.

if i had the cash i would buy it.

but that same amount just went into my RC heli... which i will crash again...and spend the same amount...and crash again, add nauseum.

all of a sudden a single charge of the price ..isnt that bad. you just have to look at it from all angles.

i guess its not the price in itself that is getting me, its just the fact of how much MORE hobby shops charge for items. i mean even the local convenience store has less quantity of certain items found in a hobby store and even they charge less. (and we all know convenience stores are high priced) d...

HOBBY SHOP - and you thought online prices were bad

I was out looking for some replacement parts for my electric heli. this in turn had me go and check out several hobby shops locally to see if they carried what i have, or something that is the same, but rebadged...or anything comparable. i walk into one, and lo and behold, 20 to 30 21st century 1/18...

ah i mis-understood the vote i cast. i initially selected "no"

if 1/18th WAS NO LONGER PRODUCED....because of the cost, "YES" would be my vote

but if it is just due to COST, and still being made...i will just have a more expensive hobby and still collect them :)
"NO" would be my original answer.
