Hi Warthog! Welcome to Cleveland! As you will see, we had weeks of beautiful weather...of which I wasted some of this time hunting for bbi's, and now it's gonna be cold and rainy with wet snow! YEUCK! But once again I can waste time looking for bbi's. Thanks for the post of your wife finding the bbi...

I'd rather have my wife yell at me each time I walked out of a TRU with a bag load of bbi's than to have her say each time I walk out with nothing..."See? Told you they wouldn't have it!" "How come they don't have it? They have all this other stuff!" "This is just a waste of time!" "This is stupid! ...

well it's also possible that the first production run was smallish....to test the market as it were. These things are distributed all over the world, not to just the US TRU. Given that this scale is still somewhat newish and unproven and that BBI's production capacity has been stretched by other pr...

Re: distribution woes
I hate to ALWAYS rant on here! That's what we're here for 8) FOV does have some great distribution network...that stuff floods the shelves and small retailers....the occassional MLRS fiasco or whatever, but overall pretty good. As someone said action figures just aren't the $ items for tru....that'...

Mike doesn't handle TRU distribution. Many are experiencing the same frustrations at WM with 21c product. The problem is the way TRU distributes their product. A lot of it is probably up to the store manager or area manager. If he/she doesn't see a high demand for an item they won't order it or wil...

Re: ouch
I like a rant as much as the next guy but Holensock I don't want you to pull something :o :P There will be enough I am sure.....maybe Amazon got them 8) There can't be only one case per tru.... :? ...right? I really can't wait for the distribution to catch up....I have the damn flagship store down ...

I looked all over the internet for these guys, and while I have a set myself, today I go into a Hobby Store and find ALL the Germans that I already bought on the internet! But at the prices this guy was selling them at, I bought 'em all and thought that maybe I could sell them to anyone here at the ...

I agree with everyone here-DO NOT GET RID OF YOUR COLLECTION! It may cost you alot of moren money to get it back if you change your mind in a few years! There's a lot of pressure holding down a job, marriage, etc. now a days. It's always-go go go, eat-sleep-go back to work. It gets us down-gives us ...

If they could somehow 'articulate' the 32X soldiers...I'd be THERE!!!vulgarvulture wrote:I'll tell you, I got very tempted to take that step. And, to be honest, I just might do that if I keep seeing 32x on the shelves! I have a relatively low resistance to any of 21st's stuff since it all looks so good.

TRU employees are clueless
Have you ever tried calling a TRU? First you get to find out what time they open, then what time they close-all this on a recorded message, then you push a number to talk to someone...then you get to listen to their kiddie muzak...FINALLY someone answers and you ask to speak to someone concerning mi...

Keep the boxes or toss them?
This probably has been covered here before hundreds of times, but...being somewhat new at collecting XD and bbi and Dragon, etc...do you keep the empty boxes and packages that the figures came in once you take them out? Or do you just throw the packages away. I guess for true collectors who buy and ...

Toys R Us Recon
Went to TRU in Elyria, Ohio. They had the bbi WWII Paratroopers, but not their new WWII figures. I also hit the North Olmsted TRU and they had NO Paratroopers OR the new WWII figures.
