I have the Doolittle B-25 and really like it. Due to my curio space I don't have any of the other larger Armour/Franklin Mint airplanes.

I am planning on buying or even making a new curio that can hold my 1/48th Betty and then will definately get a B-24, B-17, JU-52, and the C-47.

I have one of each of the first issues up to the P-47 - no Spits or FWs.

My favorite of the bunch would be the Stuka. It's big and has two crewman, and more detail when it comes to opening the canopy.

Go for it and open away!! Opening a new toy is the other half of the fun of buying it. Why have it if you're not going to play with it? It's just going to take up space that you might need. I'd leave it un-opened if you're wanting to sell it and turn a profit or just wanting to help out someone here...
