I have 4 RC 1/16 tanks and I think I have fired them up no more than 3or 4 times. I probably wouldn't even have used them hardly at all except my 6 year old thinks it's cool to drive them around.I prefer them as static.

Thanks! Kind of put the tanks and planes on hold for a while until hopefully the 1/18 hobby picks up. 1/18 has always been my favorite. I'm buliding a 1/35 Dora railgun which is just taking forever so hopefully when I am done 21st will have the B-25 out, Admiral will be shipping the F-4 and Pegasus ...

The H/L seem pretty hardy especially with the metal upgrades. Tend to be really basic though so a little paint, etc. really spruces them up. I'll try to post a picture of my H/L stug .

Really surprised it wasn't more popular. The US Navy discouraged any flamboyant noseart so distinctive noseart on navy planes was quite rare unlike the army airforce who could do virtually anything they wanted in regards to their noseart. I notice on the military toy shop website that the cat mouth Hellcat was a limited edition 2000 piece item. Anyone know if it was indeed a limited edition?
