Regular F16's Soon

Hi All,
Thursday I asked Armando at Far Out Toys to let me know when the F16's were coming. I was surprised to get a call today saying that he was told they ship on Monday and should be there by Wednesday. Wife is going to kill me when I buy another plane.

Saw it Today

I ordered one from SBP today because of the free shipping. So of course my usual supplier Far Out Toys got them in while I was there. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for it. It looks good.

Far Out Toys has them

Hi All, just went to Far Out Toys in San Jose to pick up my checkertail and he got in the Galland, Putt Putts, Tropical 109 and Sharkmouth Huey. I picked up a Galland with the Checkertail so it looks like I've got some repositioning of planes in my room coming up. :D

Early or Late Model Zero?

I've been reading all your posts and everyone wants a Zero. The question I have is early or late model? I like the late models because of the wing cannons and possibly a bomb.

Bubbletop Pilot

The pilot for the bubbletop is the same only he has the worst looking mae west paint job I've seen yet. I should take a picture to show you guys. Also a black streak across his face. It didn't come with any of the pilot accessories either, oxygen mask, parachute or pistol. I had that happen before. ...

BA F18

Great to hear your doing six. Your going to have to show us. I put 2 coats of future with the airbrush but couldn't get a good think shinny coat (probably my poor airbrush skills). I lost my patience and ended up freehanding the future. It looks descent on the fuselage but the wings have some uneven...

Hi, I have one in progress shot of my F18
http://community.webshots.com/user/hornettrip
The only thing I added was the yellow pinstrip to the LERX strake. A coat of Model master gloss and about 1/2 bottle of Future. I'm waiting for the future to dry right now.

Hi All, Since there hasn't been anymore sightings I figured I'd give you guys a few more photos to build the anticipation. I took the plane outside and took a few pictures and the scheme looks great but the quality is medicore. Lots of dings, dirty spots and what looks like glue on the tail seam. It...

Blue Angel F18

I got mine last week. I've put a gloss coat but It still wasn't shiny enough so I'm going to give Future a try. I'm going to hang it so it doesn't have to perfect but I hope I don't screw it up.

Bubbletops gone

I hit the S San Jose and Story Walmarts and couldn't find any planes. The Mt View store had some 190's. So, back I go to Milpitas and all I see are 3 190's. I couldn't find the employee for the toy dept. The person I talked to said it was probably all out but she'd ask for me. I won't hold my breath...

There has to be more out there

I saw 2 bubbletops in the Milpitas, CA store and picked 1 up. I went back today and the last one is gone. The original two looked picked over so I think someone beat me there. I have a few free hours tomorrow so I'm going to check out at least another SouthBay store. If I find any I'll let you guys ...

Hi All,
I took a quick picture of the plane and then one of my hobby room. If you want to see http://community.webshots.com/user/hornettrip
I used buying lightbulbs as an excuse to go back to the Milpitas, CA store and the last bubbletop is gone now. I may try another tomorrow.

Bubbletop SKU

Here's the sku 9874810180 for the bubbletop. Sorry I can't get a digital picture out there but it looks like the catalog picture. The only thing I noticed missing is the rear fusalage aerial post. My paint job has some scratches but that may be because of Walmart as all my P47 were mangled.
