This is probably old news that I've missed. Just picked up Dragon's 1/35th scale Morser Karl from a friend of mine who is friends with a hobby distributer up here in Canada. WOW is all I can say. What a fantastic piece!!!! Love it!!! Do other people have this thing and how old is this news?

TSSD's late War SS Germans
Just a note to insure everyone knows the new TSSD guys are a figure set of 8 figs with two surprises in them rather than a playset. Here goes. Hold your breath. In addition to 6 infantry (a panzerfaust shooter, MP44 shooter, standing sniper with a Gewerh rifle and scope, kneeling schmiesher [sp?] gu...

New Toy Soldier Show
Guys and gals, check out what Toy Soldiers of San Diego has got going on in San Antonio on Memorial Day Weekend (May 25th and 26th)- a new toy soldier show in the heart of Alamo country. Sounds like it's going to be great fun. Check out the link TSSD has provided: http://www.sdsoldiers.com/texas_sho...

Guys, it looks like 21st Century is gearing up for MAJOR announcements over the next two months. Take a look at their web site for the full story. 1/18th scale armor. New 1/32nd scale armor. Planes. Two NEW scales for products. Incredible. The announcements apparently start rolling out June 10th! Dick

O.K., so you’ve read about the new Ruskies. Like me, you thought that was it, right? NOBODY was expecting anything else on dat train. Well, folks, we’ve been ambushed. TSSD AND Barzso Toys worked together in secrecy to produce an entire playset to accompany TSSD’s new figures. STALINGRAD. I’ve only ...

TSSD's new Ruskies
Whatchamunga, guys and gals! Da Chatanooga Cho Cho is coming down da track and it’s loaded with TSSD Ruskies – mystery set number 5. Whoo Hoo. Man, these are NICE figures – the best TSSD has done so far, in my opinion. There are eight different poses, as usual, and, as usual, figure detailing is ver...

CTS's adobe buildings
I don't know whether people noticed but CTS has some neat new stuff, including two new adobe buildings. The two adobe buildings look fantastic. CTS has really supplied us with a wealth of adobe choices. The first building of their two new offerings is a thatched roof structure with holes in the that...

Any chance we'll see Japanese armor this year? It looks like you guys are moving into Pacific theater with Zeors and Japanese soldiers in 1/32nd scale - could we hope for armor? The commander of my Japanese forces is quite desperate - he's sick of using old Ideal Patton tanks as a stopgap. He wants ...

B & T
B & T has been out of business for some time now - at least three years. He was going to relocate (Penn?), but dropped out of sight shortly after doing so. Yeah, the buildings were great. Loved 'em. There was always more demand than the B & T could fill. I think he frustrated some of his distributor...

Guys, thanks for the input. I will absolutely look at the film. Didn't think of that either. Been thru tons of WWII books - and still no street markings. Have some pics of the Arnhem bridge and no marking I could see on the bridge surface either, but the pics were indistinct. I should have pics of m...

FOV delays
This is very sad, but being a toy soldier addict means WAITING. I hope it doesn't mean trouble for FOV. I'm still looking forward to their accessory sets (mirrors, bathtubs, roadblocks, German Sheppards, clocks, British mail boxes, etc.). Anybody know anything about their release dates?

Thanks, Cannonfodder, good suggestion. Lordy, I never thought to look in any of my WWII reference works!! What was I thinking?!!?? Anyway, been thru several now. Look as hard as I can, I can't find lane dividers. Many of the roads are cobblestone and quite narrow, so I suppose lane markings weren't ...

16 foot bridge
Hi guys, long time no post. Some of you from the old Groundpounders site may remember I started building a rather large bridge for my WWII type battles about 1 1/2 years ago. I'm now, FINALLY, nearly done with the thing. All of the construction and most of the painting is complete, BUT I have a prob...

New source for 21st Century
I had a chance to see Bovington last summer in the south of England. What a blast. Harrowing drive to get there, but well worth it. My wife took tons of pics with me standing next to various AFV's so I could establish /remember size when I got back. I think they had 160 plus tanks there, including a...

21st FW 190 and Jug
Talked to customer relations at 21st on Friday and was told that the FW 190 and P 47 will be out before July at the latest. For what it's worth, that's what they're anticipating. I'm looking forward to both. They also said there would be NO Jap tanks for 2005. Very, very sad.

New 21st Century
Thanks, Hoverbug. Just got my Feb Toy Soldier and Model Fig mag today and saw 21st's ad for the 88 on the inside cover. It was listed as the flak 36/37, so mystery over. I've always referred to it simply as an 88, so was confused by the referent. Thought maybe 21st was going to do a different flak g...

I'm going to be in a mall tomorrow (yup, last minute Xmas shopping) and will see those Salvation Army guys. Would they really miss one of their pots? I could really use that Figarti tank. Saw it at OTSN. Gary Keupfoert got it. Man, it's nice looking, but, yes, expensive, especially when you need lot...

Tom, what's happening with the German 88? Heard it was due in Jan, too. Can you confirm/disconfirm?
When oh when are they going to do a Jap tank or a Jap artillery piece??!!!? My Japanese commander is feeling REALLY slighted by these oversights.

Most of my stuff is 1/32nd, altho I do have numbers of 1/35th scale armor pieces that aren't available in 1/32nd. All of my troops are 1/32nd and are comprised by many different brands (Barzso, Conte, Marx, Airfix, CTS, AIP, and anything else I happen to like!). I'm a little bit crazy about this hob...

Yo, King! All right, you're still hanging in! This stuff is an addiction, isn't it? I've seen pics of a new 21st Century P40 in 1/32nd scale that they've posted in Toy Soldier and Model Figure mag. My guess would be that any meaningful King and Country prize, like their 88, would help draw a lot of entries in a competition.

FOV M'cycle
Two of the machine gun brackets quickly split when I attempted to insert the machine gun; the metal braces holding the m'cycle to the side car were partially broken on one and completely broken on another FOV model; and, yes, getting the driver's right boot down in position was a chore (I finally us...
