Welcome to the boards!

Unlike all the fantasy toys out there, real people fought, won and died in the larger versions of these machines, and they have real history behind them. Therefore this hobby has more meaning in my mind.

Yeah, a Stuka with tank buster cannons if that's what you're talkin about.

Got my Dauntless hanging up being chased by a 21st Century Zero. Though the pilot is slumped halfway out of his cockpit, cause the gunner shot him.

No wonder. Thanks guys.

Like ExC17load, I too want to know the history behind each plane and it's paint scheme.
They should be putting these little history lessons on the box. Well they kinda do on the 32X planes little corner labels.

Obviously Bad Cat doesn't know about their misspelling.

After your post I was curious about the Kounoike Flying Group. What little I could find with the "too many results" Google search, was that near the end of the war it was a Kamikaze outfit with a base called Kounoike Naval Air Base. By then the Zero was obsolete compared to the newer aircraft Japan ...

Don't know much about it, but while they are on sale I would buy at least one. We all know what happens to these limited run aircraft once they are sold out. And BCA is the only place you can get it.

So true. The 1:32 planes are perfect for hanging with fishline. And you can do so many of them. Soon I will have all kinds of air-battles going on all over my room.
Can't do that with diecast very easily.

From the 1:18 SSMH database there are a few 21st P-51's that were released at Comic-Con, I think tko211 is talking about. Wish I had gone to Comic-Con that year, instead of the year after. I would probably have those planes. Aarg! There's a guy on ebay right now (unless he's sold them) who has the 2...

I eagerly await the SBD. Like Killerf6 said, Jason has been nothing but upfront with us. With pics and all kinds of info. That's more than we can say about the almost no contact we've been getting from the other two companies. I'll wait for however long it takes for my obviously favorite aircraft ev...

So, I got my Miss Bonnie today. I must say a nice looking aircraft to be sure but It's hard to top Double Nuthin. Still nice. This is the S1 of the new tooling so I'm happy to have it. Turns out that William D. Dunham was a General by the time he flew this P-51D against the Japanese. He shot down hi...

Yeah, I'm going to get at least two more different ones. Blond Angel and Tarheel Hal.
The hardest ones to find are out of the way now though.

Might as well get them 'cause I have a feeling that when they're gone they're gone for good.

I didn't buy a PH Zero cause I already have two, but I've gotten some sweet deals in the last week or so on other planes.

Yeah, where's a Hellcat, and the numerous repaints we can get of it that I would buy each and everyone of?

Re-issue more re-paints of the new P-51D tooling.

Let's get some more Spitfire repaints too.

Any scraps you can throw us would be deeply appreciated.

P-47 Thunderbolt Razorback

Picked up the Checkered Tail yesterday for $59 with shipping on eBay. About what you'd pay online for a new one anyway. Man there are some good deals lately on eBay for buyers. People are getting hard up for cash. I don't want to spend all my money, but it's a good opportunity for me to fill in some...

The PH Zero is going down, though I suspect it's the economy for the drop in price.

I watched one on eBay yesterday and it went for around $115.
That's a considerable drop from the $200+ just a few months ago, but still pricey.

Scored the "Eagleston" at The Toy Headquarters online. Scored the "Eileen" at Hobby Bunker for about the same price. I think I got his last one. Everyone seems to be sold out of these, but I managed to find both. Around $30 with shipping for each is not too bad considering they always go higher on e...

"Shangri La" is my favorite 32X Mustang. "Double Nuthin" is a close second.

I don't know though. "Mrs Bonnie' could be a cool one. Never saw a loose pic of it yet, so I don't even know what it looks like completely.
