Wing Scale 1/32 B-17G kit

I know this is old news but I found this link with some great pics of Wing Scale's 1/32 B-17G kit. There is also a 1/32 B-25, B-26 and P-61 on the way. Plus, this site says the price is not expected to exceed $250. Pretty good deal considering the size and detail this kit offers. http://store.sprueb...

Re: hELP requested from you plane fanatics

The Stuka will not give up its wings willingly. I find the Stuka wings to one of, if not, the most difficult to remove of all the 1/18 aircraft. I can't remember where the tabs are located along the base, but I found just working the wing back and forth from the front to back worked best for me. Hop...

Re: Photos of my JSI 2nd release F-14 VF-154 Black Knights

Some viruses can be tough. If you can't get into the bios to boot to an internal/external cd drive the restore disks can't help you. I run into quite a few machines at work that need to re-imaged because the users will pick up a virus. My brother would stop over at my house and play those Facebox (I...

Re: Looking for FW-190 canopy

Okay....Smitty, Aircobra, Jay....I dug through the boxes and found the bird. It is indeed the "Black 12" version and shes about apart for shipping. As soon as I can get boxes and padded envelopes I will get them in the mail. If you need (and you better ask now before I pack it all up) I can provide...

Re: SkyWorksToys Pay As You Go Plan

After reading the second post left by Tom, I think this has gone from a great idea to an awesome idea. At least it has for me. I was worried we would be locked into a subscription (for lack of a better term) and that each kit would automatically be billed and shipped at a set time. Now that Tom has ...

Re: SkyWorksToys Pay As You Go Plan

It is a good idea kinda like the old lay-away plan though I would prefer it sent to me when its paid off not in parts I totally agree with you and would really like to see that as an option but what happens if people get half way into paying for a kit and then decide to back out? How would that aff...

Re: SkyWorksToys Pay As You Go Plan

I like the idea. Not sure how this works on Skyworks end. Is this going to be an all in type of program where items are automatically billed and shipped, or will Skyworks offer kits ala carte with no set billing and shipping schedule? I think either way would work, but with the holidays coming up I ...

Re: "Loose" BBI F-16 goes for $400.

This may not be related to this auction but I've seen a major increase in shill bidding lately on ebay. Some of its due to avoiding seller fees prior to placing an auction on their site. While others maybe related to economic reasons or simply for greed. Keep an eye out for it especially if you pla...

Re: 1:18 Future

I think there is a large untapped market for releasing 1/18 aircraft and other vehicles in kit form. I know we have gone over this numerous times, but I still feel the market is waiting for this.

Re: Got my first Spotcat!!!!!

Looks really nice without the spots. I plan to repaint mine like one of the VX-9 Vampire squadron. I like the black one on the page below. I know it's a D model but I don't care all that much. Any idea of what the main differences are between the A and D models are? http://www.anft.net/f-14/f14-squa...

Regardless of what people complained about, the Spotcat is a wonderfully awesome thing. Mine still in the box, still is amazing to look at in my room, if anything it has become the defining element in my Display. I agree with you. The F-14 will be the crown jewel of my collection as well after I re...

Re: Time to Give up on the Admiral Toys Dauntless?

I just cancelled my order about 2 weeks ago. Mine was prepaid so I had some cash coming to me. I put that towards an F-14 that should be here soon. Even if you decide to keep the pre order, I doubt Admiral will honor the price. In todays market I would expect the asking price to be over $100 easy. I...

Thank you for the review TKO. I finally got around to purchasing an F-14 and it should be here Tuesday. I am super excited about it. The F-14 is at the upper limit of what I can afford and I actually had to sell some stuff to get it. Now I may have to pick up a couple pilots from Skyworks and possib...

Wow, no love for Donnie Boy? Here is a broader list of planes I would trade a new in box Donnie Boy Razor Back P-47 for. I know some are long shots but I'm just throwing them out there. It doesn't matter if they are boxed or loose as long as they are complete-ish and in good shape. P-38 Any Scheme P...

When will we see our next WWII Warbird? I know our hobby is in a deep slump, but do you think we will see any new WWII Warbirds next year? It's obvious there is nothing coming out this year, I just hope next year offers something to look forward to.
