What does sad have to do with a F-22

I do remember the jet in the commerical and recall saying to myself what the hack is that? It was a fictional jet but it did have a mix of F-15 and F-22 characteristics.

My two cents; sad as in a Phantom or sad as in blue paint i.e. Dauntless or Hellcat

Perhaps the sad refers to the common paint sceme of Blue on the hellcat
