i think the bbi tank is really good but i didn't like the winter camo paint, respraying it in olive drab makes this tank look even better i find....though it took a while to strip all the gear off

red69charger, i think i can see why you abandoned the hooks for the skirts, it is too much trouble. i had plan to use the spare track holders on the panther as brackets for the skirts and cut up floppy disks as skirts but i think i'm just going to glue it straight on and put some bumps on the skirts...

from reference pictures i see the panthers have 6 clips for hooking the skirts on. my question is do the skirts overlap each other on the hooks? has anyone built a tamiya model that might be able to shed light into this question of mine? the panzer iv skirts should be easier to hook on since the bra...

if it's not too much trouble than sure. i was just wondering if anyone found a way to hook on the skirts llike on the real tank instead of just glueing it directly onto the hull. from reference photos it looks like there were 6 hooks to clamp the skirts on. i also noticed that the spare track holder...

...this late version of the PZKW IV does not have Zimmermit. I know the application of Zimmermit at the factories was ended some time in 1944 I believe. Hmmm.... TJ zimmeritt ended in nov of 44 i think, due to some rumor about it catching fire when it was hit by HE rounds or something, doest mean y...

toysnswords.com has some good prices but maybe it's cause i live in Canada or something but the delivery times are very slow compared to badcat, which only charges lik 5-6 bucks more, nevertheless the prices on toysnswords are still pretty good.

The BBI version is almost perfect if it just had a clasp to lock the gun down and they hadn't glued that backpack there it would be a smooth fit, it's still nice that they included the socket to put the yoke into. i'm not sure about in action but i think the 50 cal can be stored behind the turrent when not in use in real life.

removing all the glued components is a major hassle, they really glued it in and the wheels are screwed into place too
