Anybody want to trade one of the new ones for the old one? :D I agree. The new vehicle looks a lot better. Peiper was definitely Nazi in his thinking and ruthless and aggressive on the battlefield. I dislike him personally but I do admire what he could do on the battlefield. An interesting annecdote...

board

MK, 21st did have a board when they first opened up a website. It didn't last long and was a pain to post on from what I remember. GPs website was far better and quickly became the real place to be.

88

I own 2 of these 88s. The scale is 1/16. Some guys (like me) are OK with the scale difference. Some on the board won't go for anything but 1/18. Its all a matter of opinion but I think they are great pieces. You can locate them on ebay sometimes for as low as $50.

Interest

If you ever decide to do anything with AFVs, I'd be interested but I don't really collect the planes. Still I wish you luck if you do go ahead with it. It sounds promising for those who like the kind of subjects you have chosen.

Glad to hear it

I know all you guys who got screwed are probably investing a lot of time and energy into this. I just want to thank you for doing what is right and for helping keep this boards trading on the up and up. Let us know what happens when it becomes OK to speak about it.

muzzle brake

TTT I gave my muzzle brake a twist to break it loose. Most glues do not stand up very well to torquing. On one of my vehicles it came loose very easily. On the other it was more firm and I had to apply a decent amount of pressure. On this one the barrel developed a partial split at the seam where th...

WOW!

Thanks for the link to the site. I've got an unassembled T-34 also and this site makes an excellent reference for interior colors. I don't know that I can get it that nice but at least I know what it should look like now.

Love the kid joke Teamski. I've been thinking for a while that you have really taken over as comedy officer from Laughing Gravy. I seriously enjoy your sense of humor! One of the reasons I put the 1/18 figures with the Bandai kits was to show that they really don't match all that well for dior...

Pak 40

While the 88 is cool I already have a pair of the diecast 1/16 ones. While they are not perfect they do the job for me. As I see it, the Pak 40 offers the most scratch-building options. Off the top of my head Sdkfz 251/22, Sdkfz 234/4, Marders, RSOs. It was also far more common. The Pak 40 gets my v...

centone

Glad to hear you haven't completely abandoned the Mk IV schurzen idea. Remember that all of us who buy the first issue still won't have any for them. I'm still up for buying a couple sets from you if you do manage to get a production version of them.

Schurzen

Shorty, check the above link again in an hour or so as I uploaded an image I had of the original Panther schurzen I used. Its straight from the side but its the only other photo I could find. The in action Panther photos and images I have in my library show anywhere from a straight 90 degree drop to...

side skirts

I had made some resin schurzen for the Panther a few years ago and sold a few to people on this website. I'll dig around and see if They did not include hangers and were simply glued to the side. Unfortunately I do not have the mold any longer. There's a single photo including them in one of my webs...

Custom 1/15 Mk IV G

Just in time for 21st to release their Mk IV H, I finally finished the custom Mk IV G (Early) I had been working on and off with for the last year and a half. Here it is along with a few of the construction pics: http://community.webshots.com/album/154044701yaxDfW I did not recommend the Bandai kit ...

Pz IV

I got 2 of them from BCA the other day. Finally got around to looking at them. I really like these tanks and can't wait to get more of them. I will definitely be buying several more in the future. The conversion possiblities have me drooling ... Brummbar, Flakpanzers, and Jagdpanzers come to mind. N...

Custom Trucks

In 1/16 there are the 1940 Stake trucks. There is a new limited edition Pearl Harbor one out but I am more interested in using them as German trucks. The Germans manufactured them as the Ford V3000S and many of them were used during the war as medium trucks by the Wehrmacht. From what I can tell, on...

I would also be interested in at least one set (and probably more). I would prefer metal but styrene would be fine. Speaking from personnal experience doing aftermarket stuff for 21st, it will likely be difficult to get a good paint match with the rest of the vehicle. This was the problem I had in o...

Those turned out very well. I was surprised to hear it was your first set of tries with the airbrush. Looks like you've got a latent talent that's finally seeing the light of day. I found the same thing with the RC stuff. I never ran it. I only buy static kits now (and their cheaper that way besides...
