I will confirm that the Target in my AO does indeed have the bbi Apache, and Blackhawk for $29.99. Actually just one of each, but I was surprised none the less as we don't seem to usually get the good stuff. Also I thought it was said that Target wasn't interested in carrying any WWII stuff, because...

Well, I received my hellcat today, but it is still in the shipping box, so I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. I'm still at work, and yes I have my stuff sent to my work. This day is going to drag on I can already tell, and that after a sleepless night to boot. Thanks again tman :P

I for one love the 1/18 scale planes, and I wish that all the ones Badcat mentioned would get made just to prove him wrong, but I'm also a realist, and even I see issues with our hobby. I know a lot of you are down on Badcat for what he said in his blog, and I hope he is wrong, but he is in the busi...

Sounds like you guys on dail-up are having the session timeout on you. One thing that you can try, and this won't help directly with the session timing out, but might make it a little easier to post is to wright your post in word or even notepad then copy and paste the responce into the reply window.

I don't think we have anything to worry about fellas. If you look at it statistically, how many toys are made in China? The odds are definitely in our favor. Not that it couldn't happen, but I seriously doubt it. Besides, how many of us would give up our XD if they had a recall on it anyways? Not m...

Another option to buying a compressor, or cans of air, is to get an air tank available at places like Walmart for $20, or $30. I don't actually remember what I paid for mine. The regulator, and water seperator will most likely cost you more. The one I have is a seven gallon one with a max of 125 psi...

This is to Mike: "Mike I dont care if the Hellcats tires are to thin, I dont care if the Hellcats wing dehedral is wrong and I dont care if the wings dont fold correctly. You guys at BBI have delievered one of my all time favorite fighter planes of WW 2: The F6F Hellcat in 1/18th scale. The wings o...

Jason said something about folks compiling about size and cost somewhere in the forum, sometime ago about the F-4. Figure that...a manufacturer complaining that his customers complain that his product is too expensive.......I've never heard that one before. Consider the source of the one saying we ...

i'm very confident that the Dauntless will get produced. And i'm eagerly awaiting it as i'm sure lots of others are too.. For me it is more like impatiently awaiting it. I put my pre-order in when they first became available and have been waiting for the day that I was notified it had shipped since...

I collect 1:72, as well as 1:18. The main reason being that there are more models to choose from in 1:72 than 1:18, or any other scale for that matter. Now if all the aircraft that I desire were made in 1:18, that would be all I collected. Granted the B-17, B-24, and PBY Catalina would take up a lot...

LOL, It's more than likely that it is the retailers that are the ones crying about space and price.. They are the ones that have to stock the shelves, and if it is to big or to expensive they will hesitate at making the purchase. You have to remember that we here on this bbs are a small fraction of ...

Mike are you trying to tell me that your guys over at Bbi could not get the dihedral correct the wing fold/ wing fold angle as it is folded or the tire thickness correct due to cost? If this is the case, I find it hard to believe. I am not asking for a 1:18 hellcat with 15 thousand parts, just one ...
