Not on a soapbox here, just a keyboard but I've returned items to walmart and there is an option available that won't hurt anyone else. When you take it back, don't offer anything that might allow them to put it back on the shelf. When they ask you what's wrong, tell them that it's broken. When I re...

That ATC guy needs a xanax iv drip stat. By the way, have you ever let anyone under the age of 10 in that room and, if so, was it with their hands tied behind their back? Those planes would have lasted about 30-45 minutes tops if anyone I knew growing up went anywhere near a cool collection like tha...

Hands down the best helicopter pilot is the BBI helicopter crew member. The easiest place to find them (although I've bought them at TRU and other vendors as well) is on the bottom of smalljoes.com under the elite force 1:18 scale. I've since purchased (at least) 8 of them and as you may have read i...

Birddog said it perfectly. Yea, extra features are nice but looking at the big picture, the boxes are gonna sit on the shelf if too much is put into them. After making the walmart runs over the past few months I've gotten into some discussions with gentlemen who've been at the store with their sons ...

Is bigger necessarily better? What does the PTE M1 look like? How is it detailed? The reason I ask is that while the PTE figures are a pretty lame as compared to BBI, some of their vehicles such as the Humvee and the desert patrol vehicle look damn good.

For those of you that are doing the BBI to 21c headswap, are you able to do this and still have them able to turn their heads? I've mastered the headswap from within brands where (in the case of BBI) there are still some problems when using older and newer figures but whenever I swap using heads fro...

I've got to believe that anyone reading the first posting would (imo) immediately include weapon sets as their first choice and I agree that these are a must. With this however, the best suggestion I can re-enforce is the earlier recommendation that headsets be made available. For example, I liked t...

Went out this weekend and nothing new in the Walmarts around here in Tampa. The toy departments in ALL of the stores are being dismantled and moved to different parts of the store. I'll make another run-around tomorrow and see what's out there. As for the Mig and the Sabre, in what order were they b...

Yea, I forgot to include the fact that these were all bought within the past 6 months. One plane a month. Add to this the BBI/21c/PTE figures, vehicles and accessories I think I may indeed have a problem. If anyone's got any suggestions on how they sell this to their wife I'm all ears.

...but I didn't answer your question. I got both clear and B/W from decalpaper.com. It works pretty good but it's not quite what I get from models I buy from the store. As for setting solution, I just put a coat of Future floor polish on first and have never had a problem.

They didn't include the masks in order to cut costs. You've got to be kidding. Not only does BBI include a mask but 2 types of headgear. I'm not convinced a mask would put 21c out of business. Again, $50 should cover it.

Where are the masks?

I purchased 21c's P-47 ("Eileen") and the P-51 ("flying Undertaker") recently and neither of the pilots came with an oxygen mask. I've purchased the pilots individually as carded items both from e-tailers and Walmart and both came with masks. I contacted 21c via e-mail and was told that "they were n...

I've got the PTE humvee as well as the desert special ops vehicle. I swapped out the wheels with some rubber ones and they work great. The PTE would be my choice for those thinkin' about getting one.
