Re: 1/16 tanks

The King Tiger was to be released after Chinese New Years 2010 and we've have photos come out since then. I just don't get it considering the 1:16 market was growing at that point in time. The Panther G was my last tank and it seems like it's been 2yrs now. Sigh....

Re: 1/16 tanks

After tearing a wheel off of my 1:16 Halo Warthog, I took the PIII out for a spin. These tanks are the only way to go these days.

Any news from HL on new product like the KT?

Re: New 1/18 RC tank

You got any pics of the Leo with an M1?? Nope, I sold my Abrams while the Leo was in the mail, but I can tell you the Leo is an inch longer and wider than the Abrams. The two are not compatible due to the overall bulk of the Leo and the fact they should be identical in size. I will be buying the 1:...

Re: Badcat: new 1/18 toolings

I wish I could muster up even an ounce of care for this news, but I think I'm officially an old dog now and need to see the package in a collectors hands before my disco stick can rise. Please let this be the year JSI gets a new modern bird into our hands. The Komet would be a very welcomed addition...

Re: New 1/18 RC tank

Yuck! PTE... I started off with them and moved on to BBI & 21st stuff I like the quality better. tho Most of my Gi Joe Vehicles look bad in comparison so that has really hurt. I need to invest in a airbrush kit so i can fancy up my Cobra bubbles and Hiss tanks. The Chinese FAV is better detailed th...

Re: New 1/18 RC tank

I sold off all my modern 1:18 over the past year and luckily started my WWII armor in 1:16, so it's an easy swap for me. I enjoy the mechanics and metal tracks as much as having a certain tank, so most of mine have several $100's in them and are the pride of my collection. If I was invested in 1:18 ...

Re: New 1/18 RC tank

they do look good. I'm surprised how good the abrams looks. I sold my Bravo M1 as soon as my 1:16 Leo 2 shipped to avoid any mental size comparisons with full intentions of replacing with the above version. The quality of the shell and paint on these are impressive to say the least. Well worth the ...

Re: 1/16th Scale WWII Vehicles Pictures

Hey PanzerPaul! I've been a big fan of your work for years at RCU and wish I could get my ass out to your field sometime to boost the Allied forces. Hopefully you can help show people that their hobby is not dead, it just moved up a tad in size. The RC side has known for many years how well 1:18 sup...

Re: New 1/18 RC tank

The Hobby Engine Leo 2A5 is a beautiful tank, but crappy RC. I was lucky enough to find one in the US for $100, but it is not worth the $200+ to get it from England. I'm currently dumping $100's in it to make it a good RC and to add Tamiya tracks and sprockets. Cool video of a fully upgraded one: ht...

Hey Tom, I personally take offense to your suggestion here: "The response from Jack that is on the Fighting 18 is not what you think. Jack had been sending emails back and forth with the person who runs the site. At the beginning of this email chain, Jack let them know that it was acceptable to post...

All VF-154 birds will be lighted and all will cost $299. The bird in those pictures is in "customers hands" and atleast the 30 at SDCC are spot-free. Boxes were randomly opened to confirm this. Landing gear are made of sturdier material with instructions included this time. Cockpit stays open by its...

But it does hold around 20 1:18 figures and is over 2ft in diameter. Does anyone really want a 1:18 MF? It's hard enough to move the BMF between rooms as it is. ;)

My BMF (Big Millennium Falcon) fell 5ft, bounced off a printer stand and a chair before hitting the ground last week. I was in the room when it happened and boy did I jump out of my seat. Lesson learned, BMF cannot be hung using the same line that was used for my F-18. O'yeah, lots of parts w...
